What kind of dip do you prefer with potato chips?

I like the Ranch dip they sell at the stores. I haven't had any in a while though because I just eat and eat and eat.

Never had it with regular salad dressing before.

Ruffles potato chips and French Onion dip. I can make myself sick if I have a bag of chips and a container of dip because once I start I can't stop. Hey, maybe they should make a commercial about that!!

I prefer french onion, but ranch dip is good on lots of food indeed.

it has always been french onion, usually lipton soup mix.
But I may have to try the dressing.

DD will use the salad dressing if shes in the mood. But she prefers the ranch mix in the packet with sour cream. I prefer the lipton onion soup mix with sour cream dip. If its fritos, then the fritos bean dip.

Sour cream with Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix. My SIL has made this for years. Everyone loves it. Simple to make....mix both ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use. Best if made at least an hour ahead of time. Putting in two envelopes of the soup mix makes a heartier dip.

Another vote for Lipton onion soup mix and sour cream. That's the only thing to eat with potato chips. Though when I was in college, I got into eating potato chips and plain sour cream.

Definitely Hidden Valley Ranch powdered dip that you mix into sour cream. I use fat free sour cream so I can feel OK about eating even more chips! Although I really like this with carrots, jicama and grape tomatoes, too. Or, another favorite - roll up a piece of string cheese in some ham or turkey lunchmeat. Then dip it in ranch. Mmmmmmmm. (No, I'm not pregnant!)

McCormick Green Onion mix is really good but hard to find anymore. I also love the Lipton onion soup mix!

A little place here sells Southwest Chipotle mix. Add sour cream. Yummm. It's really good if you like a little spice.

I also like a recipe for Pancho's cheese dip that I like to make.

I also just dip mine in plain sour cream at times.

Exactly....almost 2am for me and PREGNANT...I had to scrounge what I could in teh fridge...I mixed sourcream and ranch dressing with my tortilla chips...lol


What is good tho..is salsa mixed with soft cream cheese... MMmmmm
or, even salsa and sourcream mixed...
It's all good, I swear!!

Potato Chips are outlawed in this house... I'll eat them all. BUT, if we did have them, I love traditional onion dip made with sour cream and Lipton soup.

Decent substitute (men might want to cover their eyes for this part): Celery with light ranch dressing
