You can book 499 days out if you book room only. That's what we did.

Yeah, room only, but they said free dining plan, can't do that on a room only reservation...

I just cancelled our December trip (2009) because after discussion, we're going to move to Florida sooner than we thought. So our 2010 trip will also be our "house hunting" trip, and should occur around April. Yay!

We're doing a family reunion with our nuclear family, my BIL and his family and my in-laws. Plan to go in early August 2010 and stay at WL or VWL for 5 nights. It's well over a year away, but will be the first WDW trip for all but our family so am a bit OCD on the details.

This is my first post , We have not been to DW for 5 yrs and are thinking about Jan 8 -16 but we woundering is the Marathon a crowded time if so we can change to the last week in Jan. Suggestions ?

I'm looking to take my family of 6 to Disney in the next year. It'll be a first time trip for our family. We're on a strict budget- about $5500 and that has to include everything (airfare, lodging, dining, tickets, transportation). I have four kids and if I go over Christmas the oldest will only be nine. After February he'll be 10. They're homeschooled so we can go anythime after October. Will I get a better deal through an agency or should I try to book everything on my own? The cheaper the trip the more money for fast pass, souvenirs, character dining etc.

Joining In!!!

DFi and I are planning our Disneymoon for Jan 17-23, 2010. I'm already obsessing a little, so the group support is good

We were originally planning on renting points to stay at AKL and I still want to go this route. We are just debating if it would be more responsible to book a value, or hope for a 4/3 deal like they had this year. So I don't want to book AKL and be stuck if something better comes, but I also don't want the dates to be booked for DVC if we wait. It's quite a dilemma and DFi is not being helpful, just getting frustrated about money.

We must do Disney! The economy is just squeezing us a bit more than expected (unforeseen changes with DFi's job) between paying for our wedding and the honeymoon.

I have been so excited about going back to WDW, I know we will make it work one way, or another.

We'll be there at the same time!
