Well the stars aligned for this one...Between a cheep rate at French Quarter - (BY Far my favorite resort) plus having a travel certificate and cheap airfare I can officially confirm my presence there the 15-18th! Just a quick weekend trip! Bring on the food and wine!!!

Just saw this thread. I'll be in town for the bear event on hotel plaza. We'll definitely be there assuming there's some sort of official event!

As luck would have it, I too will be missing this event (dagnabbit!), but will be at F&W in two weeks!!! I'll be there the 1st through the 10th.

I agree with Billy, that every day is a gay day at food and wine, and so, if anyone else is going to be there the first week, we should make our own event!

Mike, if your schedule permits, I'll come by and say hi, and I'll wear my Cedar Point t-shirt!

NEW INFORMATION! NEW INFORMATION!

My friend, DJ, has "declared" the first "official" meet. It will be cocktails at Rose & Crown at 5.30pm on the 16th. I hope they will be there for awhile as I have tickets to the Kona Brewery beverage seminar at the Festival Center. We, as the DisBoard members, can set up our own meetup, similar to the one we had at MK in June, among others. I still have lots of nametags left from that meetup.
