Where does it say that MNSSHP dates are released and tickets are on sale now?:confused3

When I called yesterday to switch my ressie to the kids play free promo I asked about it. She tried her hardest to sell me my tickets yesterday, but then realized she couldn't because they go on sale today. She gave me the dates of the party for the week I was there.

I say it's discrimination!! :rotfl:

Seriously though.. I'd love a Disney Visa for Canadians!!

Now I'm going to be on pins & needles until the general public over. It will save us $1,000! The kids deal only saves us $200.

Well the kids deal is saving us $450 but not even close to what the fd will save us:banana:.....14 nights:yay:.....that's a lot of $$$$:thumbsup2!

800 # is different than long distance because it is a free call. Try - maybe your company allows them. Companies I've worked at in the past allow 800 # while they have long distance filtered out.

Problem is, there's no 800 number to call CRO. It's 407-xxx-xxxx

Now, I honestly am surprised that person does not have a cell phone but has internet access from home and is planing a disney trip. All cell phones (post or prepaid) include long distance for FREE.

Finally, if you haven't got one, get a Google voice number (which is free). You then dial that number (which is local), put in your pin, and then make any long distance call you want.

If they were going to post something, wouldn't it be by 9am est. time?

DISREGARD - I called and got right thru!! Little bit of delay, b/c I am a grand gathering. I said I wanted to change the discount code on my reservation and he asked "Do you have Disney Visa". I said yes, and we were on our way! I saved $800 on my room alone.
Do note, it is only QS for values and you must have at least a 2 day base ticket. You can upgrade your dining if you wish. I had no problem keeping my ressie at POP. Good luck everyone!!!!!

How can they sell tickets when I dont even see the "official" party dates yet???

Agreed!

I just noticed we are from the same area.

So EXCITED!!! Just booked free dining @ AsMo for Sept 18th-25th....
CM was so nice and helpful. She even chuckled when I told her I wanted to book the Disney free dining. She noted that they are really busy this morning.
Can't beat a 7day trip for 2 adults and 2 children (3&7) with reg dining plan for $1783.16 (decided not to book hoppers or water parks yet)
:banana::banana::banana::banana:

hey we'll be there sep17-25 at ASMo! I requested Mighty Ducks building

Just did it! They added it on to our reservation at the Poly. We check in on 10/1 for a week, and it applies to the whole trip! They did not have to change the existing reservation number. We saved almost $1,000!

Now just have to stress about getting it for my parents' room when it's released to the general public, since they don't have a Disney Visa.

Thanks DISboards for the great info!

you can book for your parents with your DV.....I did it.. for my whole family..I booked three rooms:dance3:

I just got my parents and in-laws the Disney Visa free dining deal. I just put a $200 deposit on my card for each of their rooms. They'll just pay me back the $200. The CM said they can pay off the remainder of their trip any way they want. So, I don't have to pay for their entire trip. Hope this helps relieve some of your stressing. ;)

I assumed they would be up today since the CM I talked to yesterday almost sold me some yesterday lol!

Can give you the dates for the week I am going, that's all I wrote down when I called.

September 18, 21, 23, 25th

She said to call back today for tickets. I don't see anything on the site yet either. :confused3

And I agree about the Disney Visa -- Not fair that we can't get one!!! I should boycott Visa :rotfl:

Of course (slaps self on head!). Can't believe I forgot that. Guess I'm used to most companies offering an 800 # for their customers to phone them. :lmao: Sorry about that! Thought I was helping you, not confusing the issue...

BTW, why the heck are you making a dig at me about not having a cell phone?

What I find odd is that if it weren't for word of mouth, how would you know about this deal? I didn't get an email from Chase and it's not on their site. :thumbsup2;)

I'm on hold again since my lovely cell cut me off right as she was confirming our change....I'll ask if no one has posted by then.

Same think happened to me, only I cut myself off. I had called on both my cell and my daughter's cell and got through first on hers. It's that annoying Envy and the end button is right by my cheekbone.:rotfl2: It was at the end of my call, after giving my Disney card info. I called right back but then thought to check online. Everything had gone through.

Went from 10 days at $4530 (had a code) to 12 days at $3586 for POR, 4 adults, 1 child, 10 day tickets w/hoppers. I'll probably go back to 10 days at about $3250. Just wanted to book the extra 2 just in case.

Forgot to change my DD9 to a Disney adult but I'll do that later. For just the small extra in ticket charge she can get "real" food. She's so excited to get a real dessert.:lmao: She's not an ice cream kid.
