Did you get a confirmation number for the modern mixology? The lady I talked to was really confused about what I was booking, put me on hold for a long time, told me she would called me back, when she called me back it was for more credit card info and then said that I would get either a call or an email sometime this week with confirmation. I guess it didn't help she didn't seam to know where Canada was...

The gentleman I spoke with said I would get an e-mail confirmation on Monday.

Question for those of you who booked the Swolphin event.

Did anyone else get an email copy of an odd looking receipt as their confirmation?

It shows the amount I paid $100 as a deposit, an arrival date 10/5 and departure date 10/13/10. No where does it show what seminar I booked?

OK, now I'm even more confused. The receipt we got was from the Accounting Office and the arrival/departure dates are for internal office use only. Someone else will either e-mail me or call me about a confirmation number and to verify my seminar.

Mine is the same. I got another call just before she sent it because she took down one of the numbers wrong. In my phone call she confirmed what I was signing up for.

Change your plans! We're just a group of people that like to drink, eat and drink some more.

Well DH and I would fit right in but I can't change my plans this year. We are there for a week and then on a cruise.

I wished I had enough DVC points to stay the whole time and Vacation time from work...

I would hate to see the scale when I did return.

Where do you think "will call" will be located? The concierge desk, maybe? I was told our wrist bands would be given out at the seminar..which could in fact be the same thing. Still waiting on my email confirmation, but do have a confirmation number from when I booked last week.

Would you mind PM'ing me the contact info for Mr. Sweeny? I'd better check too, to make sure I'm signed up for the right seminar!

I've deleted a few off-topic posts on the thread about a meet-up...please folks, don't use this thread to plan your meetups at events... we have others hanging on with subscriptions waiting for access to the seminar booking site and running here to read what's posted.

I left the helpful info about booking and confirming events at the Swolphin - I think the Swolphin festival is well on topic!
