2010 4/3 deal?

Hi we just returned!

When did the 4/3 deal come out for 2009? I am crossing my fingers for a deal in 2010!!!????

Any thoughts?

Me tooo!!! That was a great deal and we are already looking ahead to our 10 year anniversary next June. I'm hoping for some good deals too.

I have thought about getting an annual pass to use next june, then again the folllowing May. I know passholders get good discounts, just not very far in advance. The 4/3 was better than great, so if that comes up first, I'm going to jump on it. If not, maybe I will wait to see a passholder discount for next summer.

if you are thinking about getting an AP b4 7/31...I have 10% NEW AP doscount card and it is good up to 6 AP's.
I am mailing them to serious buyers. =)

I believe it came out in early November.

It came out on November 6th(if my memory is correct). The reason I remember is that was the day SW released their April airfare too and it was just a crazy day.

good memory... I sat on my computer that entire week waiting for that deal to come out. And then got right on the phone
didnt really do much for me staying at a value. But next year we are trying a mod, and I really hope they do this again.

those kinds of deals are coming to an end. 4/3 was new to 2009 and it sounds like it was real temporary due to the economy. There may be a few pincodes with deals like this, but I wouldn't expect a general offer like this one next year. If I'm wrong, good news for everyone.

Even free dining promo has changed for the end of the year, now. Last year they had free DP plus for the value resorts and now it's changed to the QS DP for the Goofy promo which is a step down from last year's VISA offer at the same time period.

I know we are all getting spoiled with big discounts and I'm included, but Disney will not continue these good discounts. Infact, I would go this year for that very reason. You're not going to see such deals; unless, the economy really tanks; so, take it while you can, now.

To be truthful I rather pay more at Disney then see the economy go any worse.

I agree I would rather pay more then have the economy get worse. But they have been doing free dining for a while, even when economy was good. Maybe with its success, they will offer again. If it was too good, maybe you'll see 5/2.

We're also planning for May 2010, but are waiting to actually book until we get some sort of deal. Also hoping for the 4/3 deal, but we're staying at the Poly...do they still offer the deals like that or Free Dining for deluxes??? We booked through AAA last year and I was more informed than our TA...would it be easier to book myself, or do you think I should try the Dreams Unlimited people???

Only go with AAA if there are no other deals available, then you can get the AAA discount on the rooms. For that matter, I believe DU can have the AAA discount applied as well. I am only working with them for the first time, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. They even make your ADR's for you. I tried working with AAA last year on a Disney trip and they were terrible - I ended up booking that trip with Disney direct.
