T is fine. She popped in on the big give board for literally about 5 seconds the other day. She was making a couple of outfits and letting us know she was still alive (and I assume good, she'll normally tell us when she isn't).

I guess I have never done a photopass share before. What all is involved in this? How much is it? How can you link them together?
I think since it is just the 3 of us, we will probably use photopass, so if sharing would be more cost effective, then we would probably be in!

I don't know if you've ever used photopass before, so I'll explain the basics. First, you pre-pay for photopass since you save $$ doing it that way. I believe it's about $99. Then, when you get to Disney, the photopass photographers will give you a card that they have stored your pictures on. You can use this same card over and over again at each photopass station by handing it to the photographer before they take your picture. Then, you enter the number on the back of the photopass card into your account online and your pictures will be added to the account. You can add as many numbers as you need to. So, if you want each member of your family to have their own card, that is fine. Or, if you forget your card at the hotel or something, you can get another one. You can also get a new one if you lose yours, but all of the pictures that were on the one you lost will be lost if you don't have the number from the back of the card (so I recommend taking a picture of the back of the card so you don't lose that number). At the end of the trip, you have a set number of days to edit your photos and add embellishments before your photopass expires. You have to order your photopass CD before it expires, or you will lose your photos.

The way a photopass share works, is one person buys the pre-paid photopass and shares the login information with everyone in the group. It's best to not have too many people in the group because if you get close to1000 pictures on there, it will run REALLY slow and make it hard for people to edit. Everyone needs to pay for their share of the photopass and the cost of the CD and postage (this will be a different price depending on how many people sign up). Everyone adds the numbers from their photopass cards to the account and all of the pictures are put into one account together. Then, at the end of the trip, before it expires, this person orders the CD. Then, they sort out the pictures and mail each member of the share their own pictures on CD.

I think Jessica was volunteering to handle the money and make the CDs. If not, Kristine offered to do it.

I just wanted to say that I finally got out of bed (been sick) and sent Dallas to get the mail! We got our papers today for the trip and I was so excited to see 30 minutes of free play in the arcade. Dallas bugs and bugs us all the time to play and being the cheap mommy I am he is lucky to get $2 from me! Whoo hoo!

Tom, I didn't read Heather's post about photoshare, but usually if 4 people go in then you split it 4 ways, so $25 each, plus about $3.50 to cover shipping of CD's and the CD cost so everyone has an actual copy.

With so many people going for a short time I was hoping to get 6 or 7 or so and looking at splitting it with us going for a week at like $25 each and then 3 others could go in at $10 if coming for the weekend. We'll have to see who all ends up being interested.

The main thing, which Heather might have said, is to NOT enter the #'s into your own account, once the photopass card is entered you cannot enter the same # again.

I'm only coming for the weekend but I'm willing to split evenly. Each picture is going to cost me $13. Even if just us three split it would be less than the cost of the 3-4 pictures I would have anticipated buying and then I could have them all!

You know you can purchase just one for both trips. You have 30 days from your trip to claim your photos and then 30 days from when you claim them til they expire. So you could wait til you return from your 2nd trip and claim all the cards at one time.

Well, I did something tonight that not everyone can say they did.......I got out the silver polish and polished my tiara!!! I've had it since I was 14 and it is sterling and had tarnished a lot! (You know, I think I can say that about most things that are 50 years old....in one way or another ) Now it is bright, shiney, and ready for WDW!

I know. I tried doing that last year and ended up waiting too long and didn't get any of my pics. My husband and I went on the 12th of Feb and then my son and his family came for a week and then we did a week with our daughter and her family. It was the 28th of Feb before we started our trek home. I was sooooo mad at myself that I let them expire. It was one grandaughters first trip to WDW. I don't think I want to risk it again.

I completed the first outfit for the trip today! Yahoo! Okay, I'm not completely done, but I only have about 15 minutes of work left to do on it. I'll have Tessa model it tomorrow morning.

I have found that a good way to prepare for Disney is to spend at least 20 minutes/day dancing around the house yelling/singing "We're going to Disney!!" Even Sawyer is excited about it. I'm pretty sure he remembers our trip in May, so he knows what he's excited about this time.

Wow, you must have a really fancy tiara!! I'm jealous! My tiara doesn't fit me very well because I have a sneaking suspicion it was made for a child. Go figure.

Oh I wish I could do this! But since I have to keep my trip a secret...no can do. I got so angry at DH last night. My documents came last night and he left them right on the table for DD to see!

If you haven't gotten your documents yet, you are in for a treat. They really stepped up the quality for 2009. They are little booklets for your family with pretty pictures!

Tessa read that the yellow tags were for "Magical Express", and she wanted to know what that was. I told her we put those tags on our bags and then we give them to the people at the airport. Then, the bags will magically appear in our room at Pop Century! I also told her about the magical bus that will pick us up at the airport and take us to Pop Century, without us even telling it to! You should have seen the priceless look of wonder on her face!

Tessa also has the oufit she will wear when she meets Luke all picked out. She wants to wear her Minnie dot dress with the Mickey/Minnie jewelry he sent her.

Now, I'd like to offer the arcade card to someone who has more than one kiddo coming along so the expense for the second one will be nil! The first one to say they want it on this thread, gets it! (Somehow, I just don't see myself spending any quality time in the arcade! )
