2009 Rates?

Oh- I was just looking at park hopper prices- I'll start a different thread for that. Sorry for any confusion.

I don't see the $150 GC being offered for Feb 09. Where did you see that? That alone could make my decision on staying at the DLH. Thx

I was given the quote over the phone, she stated $150 GC included. It also included 1 EE, 1 TTMM, a lanyard and luggage tags.

Decisions, decisions....

Winder why it's not being advertised elsewhere.:confused3 Hope it's not an old perk

I just did some checking on the disneyland website (I think I was in book a vacation) and it states a disney gift card included with stays on site,I believe the dates were early Jan through March (can't remember the exact dates).

Happy planning.

I'm thinking maybe we'll stay the first 2 nights at DLH then the last 2 at GC, make everyone happy.:goodvibes

I have searched and searched for the 150.00 GC. I can't find it. Can you post a link?

Yes please post a link. I have searched high and low and see no GC offers. We plan to go in Feb and if there is a GC out there as a bonus I would love to get it...

I'm sorry, I don't know how to post a link.
So here's where I found it.
Disneyland website, "find a vacation offer" on the left hand side,
Type in your dates and select package (not hotel only).
Then you should get results for Disneyland Hotels and it is listed under
"Special Features"=150.00 Disney Gift Card.

I hope makes sense, forgive me for my lack of computer knowledge:confused3

No worries on the link :)

OK so here is what it does for me, I am putting in Feb 18-21 2009 are you putting in 2009 or 2008?? I have no clue why you and I are getting different special features. I even did a google search on line and can't find any GC being offered for 2009???? I wish we were sitting next to one another so I could see what you are doing differently!!

GOT IT FIGURED OUT! You must be staying a min of 4 nights to get the GC...we were only doing 3. :worship:

I'm pretty excited about the adults paying the kids price thing. We're getting the three-day hoppers for $149 each instead of $179 each. So we save $60. And we're staying offsite for 5 nights....for a total of $405. I'm all about saving money.

Yikes. I don't quite understand why anybody would book a package. You could come in under a thousand if you booked separately and stayed offsite.

I mean, I guess I get it, because it's easier... and people like the immersion experience of staying onsite... but if you learn a few things about the hotels and different discounts, you can do so much better.:confused3

I actually did this last year since I was paying for three families at GCH. I booked the room AAA, then got the online sale price tickets and it worked great. However..getawaytoday was very close to the price I paid booking seperately and if the gift card offer had been available at the time, it would have beat it quite well. What is important to remember is that the package includes the room tax and resort daily fees which are quite high, while booking seperately has this charge added later. So..I may go with a package this year if there is a decent deal out there. We are going for three days before our Backstage magic in January. I know..off site is super cheap..and we used to stay off stire, but GCH is our big splurge now..

Darn...so..if we stay an extra night then it would only cost us a small fortune at GCH + extra park hopper in stead of large fortune...:)
