When should the 2009 rates be out for packages and for hotel stays at GC?

Thanks!

Should be tomorrow or the next day.

I too am waiting to book a stay in Feb. of '09.

I just tried to book on the website for April. I tested it at a weekend night and a weeknight and they were $480 and $425 respectively at the GCH.

The're out! Sigh... relieved--great prices for our dates (everyone plays for the kids price)for 5 day hoppers.:cool1:

:confused3 I guess I need to go look again because when I looked an hour ago the DLH rates were not out yet

Well I tried to look at packages for DLH for next July..."Not available yet" was the answer I got. I'll try again later!

5 day pass next year is 204.00 wow might as well get an AP for that price

Where are people finding packages for 2009?? I cannot find them on the disney website and also tried Alaska Air and nothing. We are planning probably Feb.

Thanks!

I just called the Disney Travel Company (Fri, 9:40 PST) and they said that February 2009 dates were not yet available for booking.

The website seems to have opened up the dates, but there are a lot of glitches... I entered hotel only for the GCH and it came up with PP rates... so that's not working for me. Plus I'm looking for an AP rate.

Anyone have any luck calling and booking a February or later date?

UPDATE:
Dates come up on the Disneyland website, but will only come up with packages, not "room only" rates.

UPDATE 2:
Now the results are "no availability". Hmmm... I wonder what's going on?

UPDATE 3:
Called the Disney Travel Company again and DID get rates for Feb. 22-25 '09. $333 per night for TGC (standard room), was told that the AP, AAA and Disney Visa room rates were all the same at -10%. Doesn't seem like a good rate for off season, weekday AND AP discount.

Same experience with website - one time it showed us rates, one time it didn't (both were for hotel only). We actually are DVC and want to use points for our Jan stay, so we called this morning and the concierge level for GC was gone for a few of our dates already, so we are splitting our stay half concierge/half non-concierge.

Were you able to book through Member Services this morning for the DVC stay? I called this morning and was told they couldn't see availability yet? I'm not planning on January though.

Thanks :hippie:

Just called, received a quote:thumbsup2 . So, the damage 2A, 1C Feb 22-26 DLH/ 4 day hopper=$1862.40. Not sure if we'll book, it is a special everyone pays kids price. Also, includes $150 gift card to be used in the parks. Anyone care to give an opinion, is this a decent price???

Thanks

I don't see the $150 GC being offered for Feb 09. Where did you see that? That alone could make my decision on staying at the DLH. Thx

Hi everyone.....:goodvibes
I was just on Disneyland's website and was able to price out a package for August 2009....:cool1:
Now all the fun planning begins for our first Disneyland vacation...woohoo!

Yikes. I don't quite understand why anybody would book a package. You could come in under a thousand if you booked separately and stayed offsite.

I mean, I guess I get it, because it's easier... and people like the immersion experience of staying onsite... but if you learn a few things about the hotels and different discounts, you can do so much better.:confused3

We called DVC member services around 10:30, when they said they didn't have any concierge. Then called back at 11 and got offered Paradise Pier concierge. Then at 12 got the partial GCH concierge. We also were considering a suite (my parents are going as well so a 2BR works well for us) but they said those aren't available yet. Seems like they are releasing availability a little at a time - definitely try calling back!

Thank you very much. I called around 9:45 so that probably explains it. Thanks again - have a great time!:thumbsup2

Seems a little high maybe. We are going Nov. 21-25, 2008 (I realize this is before next year's rates). We are 4A (well, 2 kids who are over 10) and 1C at DLH with 4-day hoppers, 3-day dining plan, and an extra character breakfast for $2500.
