2009 prices?

Does anyone know when Disney will announce its prices/packages for 2009? My bf wants to take a trip in either February or April next year to WDW to celebrate his 30th bday, and I was wondering when I can start planning it!

Packages and room only OFFICIAL RATES for 2009 will be released usually by the third week of August, 2008. Prior to then you can reserve a room only booking ... at peak 2008 rates .. and then if you want to have a package, you can call after the rates for 2009 are released, and cancel the room only and rebook a package.

Kinda pointless for the most part. You might as well wait for the official release.

Thanks. Yeah, I'll wait until the official packages come out in August. I wasn't expecting them to come out until fall/winter, so August is even better!

2008 package prices were released 8/5/07, 2007's on 8/6/06 and 2006's on 6/30/05. Rack rates were released in May for 2005, 2006 and 2007, and August 5, 2007 for 2008.

With many airlines booking flights into Jan, I really wish Disney would come out with there rates earlier. It doesnt hurt to wish.

I went ahead and booked my room for July 2009. I want CR Tower MK view, and those go pretty fast, so I want to make sure I got it. I did not book my Yacht club stay for the following week, I'll wait untill the rates come out, I want a standard view, nothing special.
