2009 Photo Contest topics?

When do we find out next year's topics? Are they going to stay basically the same? I need to keep them in mind for my upcoming trip! This time, Im bringing a tripod for low-light conditions and I'll shoot a few in RAW for an HDR.

That is completely up to rtphokie, so you might want to PM him. He might miss this thread. One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot use a HDR in the contest.

Wasn't one of the contests used for adding some new topics?

I think Motion, Disney Going to Sleep, and Wide Angle might be future topics based on that contest.

I've been thinking about this and the contest will largely stay the same. Least popular contests (in terms of entries and votes) will either fall off the list or be combined with other contests.

Motion is definitely going in next year (it was the winner of the "Poster's Choice" week. Disney Going to Sleep and Wide angle are also possibilities as they tied for 2nd.

I'm already up for suggestions, PM me.

Motion is good, so is wide angle, how about landscaping? Or is that a topic all ready?
