2009 Disney 1/2 Marathon Registration

I'd like to run the '09 Disney 1/2 marathon. I see that the '08 race filled up in June. It looks like DVC members and Disney employees can still get into to the race after that it is filled to the public. Does anyone know if that is true?

I'm asking because I've been battling injuries for the last two years and I'm not sure whether I'll know in June if my body will be up for a race in January.

Not sure how much longer regular registration will be open -- on the sign up page, the 2009 1/2 marathon is 97% full. Might be worth calling MS to see how long after regular registration closes a DVC member can sign up.

I think the only way to get into the race after it closes is through a group like Team in Training. If you want any chance to run in Jan, you need to register now.
