Does anyone know when (or about when) the final list of DDP restaurants will be out for 2009? I am trying to make plans and it would really help to know which restaurants we can eat at.

Great Question.....I look forward to hearing an answer too as I am trying to plan for March.

I've read somewhere in these forums that the official list comes out sometime mid-November.

Chances are that most, if not all, of the restaurants from this year will be included in next year's plan. You can go to this year's pdf to see what will probably be included. You could always have a couple of backups in case specific restaurants get cut.

If you want to book restaurants now, use the 2008 list. If it turns out (not likely) that a restaurant you want is not on the 2009 list when it comes out, change that reservation to an eligible restaurant.

Note that the new T-Rex restaurant is not on the 2008 dining plan and most likely will not be on the 2009 one.

I had this email response from T-Rex Restaurant

"We will be on a walk-in basis only until 2009. You may check our website at anytime or call 407-828-TREX (reservations are currently not being taken). We will be accepting the Premium, Platinum and Wine and Dine Disney Dining Programs for those on Disney Dining."

i found the 2009 meal plan brochure pdfs at mousemisers.com
That version is not finalized yet. Disney is currently waiting for all non-Disney restaurants to sign their contracts before they can add them to the plan. Once they've signed their contracts, they'll be added to that meal plan brochure. Until then, that brochure is not nearly complete.

The Premium and Platinum Plans are not the same as the regular and deluxe Disney Dining Plans, which T-Rex will not be accepting. The Premium and Platinum plans include recreation, tours and show tickets in addition to dining, and cost well over $100 per person per night.

 please correct me ?!
i thought that you could eat at "ANY" on site resturant while on the dining plan ....as i read that doesn't seem to be the case?
HELP

if you read the dining plan brochures you will see a list of restaurants that accept the dining plans. Not all restaurants on site at Disney are owned by Disney. And some choose not to participate in the dining plans. There are still a ton of restaurants to choose from because most participate.

I asked my TA this very question just yesterday. We are doing the Quick Service Dining Plan in January and the list so far is quite abbreviated. She said that it was true that many restaurants have not yet signed their contracts and that the final listing likely will not be released until January 2 or 3.

Not much we can do about it either, just thought you'd like to know. :sad2:

do you have or anyone know where to look or have a link?:worship:

Unfortunately, the 2009 list that is up is not the final list yet. It's the list as of right now, and many other restaurants will likely sign between now and the end of the year.

Last year, it was mid-November (I want to say the 19th based on the last changes to my plan files, but I'm not sure). The only restaurants added after that were Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, which took longer to finalize their contracts and were added in December.
