2009 Dining Plan - Coronado Springs?

Does anyone know if Coronado Springs is going to be covered on the 2009 Dining Plan.... when I look at the brochures, I do not see Coronado Springs listed???? Yet they have Deluxe hotels listed?????

This has to be a mistake????

The restaurants at CSR are not owned by Disney, so they have to negotiate a contract for 2009. They'll be added later in the year. For 2008, it was November or December before their participation was finalized.

Not Disney owned? Why not? I would think they would be.

The restaurants at Coronado Springs (Pepper Market, Maya Grill and Rix) are owned and operated independently. Only the convention venues are run by Disney.

There's usually a bit of shock at this time of year when some readers look at the preliminary dining plan list and come to realize that more than half of the Epcot restaurants are not owned or run by Disney either.

CSR was on DDP in 2006 and 2007, so I imagine they will be added to 2009 shortly. It is a wonderful use of counter service credits... big portions and delicious food!

Wow! Would have never guessed. Just assumed that all restaurants at the Disney resorts were run by Disney. You learn something new everyday!
