2009 dining plan brochures

I don't see Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express Cafe at downtown disney on the list either.

These restaurants are not owned by Disney and will most likely be added to the list later after their contracts are finalized.

Thanks for posting the prices, paulh. Anyone have the prices for kids ages 3-9?

I didn't see Tepan Edo on the list, either, and that's an Epcot restaurant that should be owned by Disney, right? (Tokyo dining is missing, too) Anybody know if these two places are still included? We were hoping to eat at Tepan Edo for our trip next May. If it's not on the plan, then we'll have to revise our plans.

Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining are not owned by Disney. Several of the Epcot restaurants are not.

well I hope the negotiations go well between Disney & the various non-disney places that were on this year's DDP...we love Earl of Sandwich, and have wanted to try WP cafe!

So... Looks like the QS plan is just that QS only w/ a snack & breakfast and resort mug

The regular dining has 1 QS, 1 TS and 1 snack w/ only kids 3-9 allowed an appetizer?? :confused3 Hmm- doesn't seem right but... :scratchin O-tay!
Oh & No refillable resort drink...

& the DxDDP has 3 meals a day w/ resort drink! So I guess that means all 3 meals could be TS if ya want or 2 TS for an experience/show etc and 1 left over for an actual TS again for the day- and apps don't state kids 3-9 only... that mean everyone? or does that imply adult plans only? hmmm
Oh & 2 snacks too- forgot that part...
I need to look again but it also looks like buffets aren't every TS option on both reg & Dx...
Now a question for our situation,
We are a 7 member family- no grats incl mean we will be tipping of course, however since they automatically apply 18% to tickets w/ 6 or more- will that be at 18% of what meal would have cost us cash OR is that 18% of what dining plan cost us for that 1 meal? For any of you w/ 6 or more can you recall which amount you were gratuitizing? (if that is a word- LOL  )
thanks so much allison for the post- I have been searching frantically for this- Oh, I still couldn't find it myself on the Disney site after your post- I saved your links to my documents- & yeah... kid prices? anyone know?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THE LINK AND THE PRICES, THEY ARE REALLY HARD TO FIND ON THEIR WEBSITE.

We're going in January (for the marathon). For curiosities sake, when - if ever - is there a final list for restaurants participating? Two of the ones we want to eat at aren't on the list yet but are for 2008 (and this may be the make or break for the DDP).

They usually have the finalized list by mid to late November.

Does anybody have any additional information on the new "Junior" category for ages "10-17"? This is something I was really hoping for but I don't really see information about what it means other than a slightly lower price than the adult price. Can they choose from the kids menu or adult? My 10 year old sometimes wanted the kids meal and sometimes the adult.

I don't find anything in the brochure regarding Junior Pricing. Where are you seeing a separate designation for children 10-17? Everything I see says guests 3-9 and guests 10 and over. :confused3

okay I am confused (which isn't hard to do). Is the appetizer allowed on the basic dining plan? thanks for your help.

No it is not. Appetizers are for guests 3-9 only.

Anyone know what the child price is for the quick service plan? Is it me or is $29.99 a lot for the CS plan? Especially for my 10yo who I would have to pay the adult price for.

I agree, this one is more of a prepaid meal plan.

I could be wrong, but I think the Junior is less than the Adult because there is no room charge. The adult price includes hotel room plus adult ticket, plus adult dining, the junior includes only adult ticket plus adult dining, and the child is child ticket plus child dining. The three tiers you are seeing are only because the room is included in the adult pricing.

I got excited when you posted this thinking maybe I missed something. I have a 10 year old "adult" so we will no longer be doing the meal plan until her appetite catches us with what they charge. But sadly I don't think they have a junior meal plan.

I read on another thread that the child's price is $8.99. I think this plan will work great for my group, especially when you consider the value of the mug (both cost & savings).
