I would print that and take it in. If Disney says that is how you get the tickets and it says so right on the website and you have a printed copy of it - I think it would be hard for them to deny you.

Ah, but the catch is in 'selected Walt Disney World tickets'. That could quite possibly mean that the tickets have to be part of a package.
The thing is....while the AAA parking areas are nice, they aren't all 'that' nice. You probably save a little bit of walking but nothing to get all excited about.

Actually the word to bold is participating AAA Travel Office. Your local AAA office probably sells movie discount tickets, Disney tickets, Sea World Tickets etc. The Travel Office probably only sells tickets if you're booking a package (which includes your hotel room).

Different offices have different policies. NY AAA mails you the voucher with your other documents, the same envelope you get your souvenir luggage tags. It can't hurt to print out the page from the Disney website and show it to AAA but I don't think the local offices in NY even have the vouchers in the office.

I don't think I'd embarrass myself, and slow down the line of cars, by trying to get access to the AAA parking area by showing a print out of the web page. Maybe just show a AAA card and see if the CM wants to be nice.

Agreed. They are at best very minor conveniences. I'd rather have a free mickeybar, if given the choice between the two.

I was - sorry I didn't mean to do that at Disney -I meant in your AAA office.

We love the AAA parking and my office gives them to us for buying the tickets there.

Do you have a stroller? That is the only reason I really care about the AAA parking. We HATE trying to get on and off the tram with our stroller - it is such a pain - so to me the ability to skip the trams is worth whatever it takes to get the AAA parking pass. I also love at the end of the day if my kids are asleep that I don't have to get them out of the stroller or wait in the long tram lines to get to my car. As my kids get older - I will care less about the parking pass but right now I would pick it over a free mickey bar - and believe me that is saying a lot!!!

I found that an umbrella was generally pretty simple to get on and off. Anything larger sure would have been more difficult.

We are AAA members. If we purchase tickets through AAA do they give parking pass in?

Depends on your individual office so be sure to ask.

They are year-dependent. We are local and use it all year long.

I happen to know some things about this topic and the explanations given here by Brian Noble are exactly right. Regional clubs all have their own rules. There are conditions to be met before Disney releases the passes to AAA/CAA for distribution. Often there are only so many sent and they are inventoried.

Also starting this year the way they come in the travel package has changed. They use to come as a loose voucher that people could use, pass on etc. Often clients would leave the voucher if they weren't driving which would give an office a supply for other members who asked. Now, they come attached in the book of vouchers and have a different look to them. The other type are still available.

This issue now is Disney and AAA/CAA have become much stricter with the passes due to the big ebay black market!!!

Honestly, I have one and often drive to the parks. I rarely use it. Depending on the park and time of day I arrive its not the best option.

I was just looking at my Daimond Card parking pass, (I know this thread is really old, but I was looking for where parking is for AAA) but it has validity dates on it for your length of stay. I am getting ready to go in 10 days!

When using the Diamond pass once you get to the ticket booth and show the pass you will be instructed to follow the green line in the road. The green line leads you to the AAA parking section which is ususally the very front row of the parking lot. Unless the it is full then you will park with the rest of the in coming cars.
