We are going in February of 2008 and have been planning this trip since our February 2007 trip. So, its never too soon to start planning.

Just cant wait til 2008 rates are released so we can book our tickets and dining. (We already booked the room)

What a coincidence, 4 DZNY NUTZ, we too have already booked our room for February of 2008 - immediately after our return from our February 2007 trip! Not sure where Stratford is, but New Jersey isn't that big - we can't be too far from eachother.

OP - we have booked our room and will wait to find out the 2008 rates and AAA discounts. Have been looking at airfare often, but will likely wait until the fall when prices tend to drop. Hopefully we won't regret that. We're staying in a villa and ordering most of our food from Gardengrocer, so no need to book dining. But I am beginning to research what "extras" we'd like to do this time so that I can hit that 6 month mark prepared for any possibilities.

Trying not to plan too much now - if I get too far ahead of myself I find it's just too long to wait!

Hi Wrighter, I am not sure where Robbinsville is but Stratford is in Camden County. We are next to Voorhees, Cherry Hill area. About 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia. We would like to fly this year, we usually drive...but that is getting a little old. I cant stand the wait to get there and seems like the drive takes forever!!! we are going the first week of February....it wont come soon enough!!!

When 08 rates come out, I will add dining & tickets.

Does anyone know when I can make dining reservations? Is it 180 days?

You can start making dining reservations 180 days out. It will be here before we know it!!

We just found out last weekend that my family wants to do a group trip in June 2008. This has long been a dream of mine that I thought would never come true. None of them have ever been to Disney. There will be a total of 13 people on the trip. Guess who got picked to be the coordinator?

We are taking our children on their first trip in Dec 2008 with my parents. We are in the middle of buying DVC - we will be closing in Sept - so we will be in the system to book our ressies at the 11 month mark. I can't wait!!!! I have already started to think about park days....planning is such great fun!

Wow! Gogo65, that's one heck of a holiday you have planned!

We're already planning for May of 2008. I'm still waiting patiently for the rates to come out. We'll be doing a package. This is a special anniversary/40th birthday vacation with the kids rolled into one. We'll be staying at POFQ.

We are going in Dec 08 and I start planning as soon as
I know we are going. It seems like it is a long time to wait...but I need to decide things like which sort of tickets we'll buy (AP, MYW w/ non expiring option or what?), where we want to stay (so we can call as soon as possible to book-whihc in Dec 08 will be a Aninmal Kingdom Villas Savannah View --I hope).

Plus, that trip will be for my daughter's 5th birthday, so I want to plan a little extra-maybe a Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique visit...I have to research and re-research my options.

The truly absurd thing is that we are going in Sept 07 too...so to be excited or worrying about Dec 08 does seem a bit silly when I really think about it.

2008? I think I have everything done already. MLK long weekend(booked), Easter week at Vero Beach(booked). Just have to call next month and get the rooms for "I'm done with elementary school celebration trip" for my eldest.
Probably will do Thanksgiving(we're on the fence about doing a 3 day cruise).

So I am ready for 2009 planning to start.

How early can you book airfare?? We are planning a trip for December of '08 . I know which resort we want to stay at and some of the extras that we want to do and places we want to eat but I haven't booked anything yet because we're going to do a package.

Well our room is reserved at All Star Movies and flight booked now I have to wait until Sept to book our ADRs. Been looking over the reviews cause I figured we should try a few new places. Wew over 9 months of agony of waiting.

We were there the first weekend in May, it was great. No bugs, great weather and crowds were minimal.

I am planning for November 2008 when we are going to be staying at WDW for 2 WEEKS . We are doing Turkey Day down there anyone know how the crowds are around that time ?
