2008 when does Halloween end & Christmas begin?

Hi, just wondered if it is possible to hit the end of Halloween and beginning of Christmas.

you might get a period when halloween and xmas decorations are up at the same time but I doubt you will get a period when the halloween shows/parade is on alongside the xmas ones. I suggest beginning of november perhaps bonfire week
