2008 Resort Dilemmas...

We stayed at CR with a MK view last year, because we want to try the Deluxe Dining Plan, I would like to go cheaper on the room and maybe get 2 rooms at Pop (we are a party of six).

The dilemmas are :

1. Do I book now with the AAA package discount and save $280 total and worry because I have never used them and they don't do ADRs OR Book with DU, who is great and will do ADRs and hope for a discount (since one has been available for my time frame almost every year)?

2. Can I really go back to Pop after staying at CR ---Thats the biggie

We're going back to POP after staying for 8 nights at the Grand Floridian last year! My kids are so exicted about staying at POP again, and so am I. I am preparing myself for a different kind of vacation, but no less fun or magical.

We booked our vacation with AAA last year, but I made my own ADRs. This year, I just decided to do it myself and wound up saving over $500 with the free park hopper upgrade. I like doing it myself, because I hated not being able to check on my reservation last year.

Jenfur - we booked this vacation with AAA and I have read on these boards (and tend to agree) that a lot depends on your TA. While I made my own ADRs just because I wanted to, my AAA TA did offer to do them for me. I think you could definately do POP. While the CR MK view is amazing, for many people it's not a thing that can happen on each trip. We did CR MK last year, will do Poly this year then thinking about heading either to ASMu Family Suites or BC.

I was slightly concerned on our last trip. I've spent my childhood til my adulthood staying at the CR. This past April, my family stayed at ASMu for a grand gatherings because of financial reasons. We had a blast.

I think Disney is 95% attitude and 5% where am I sleeping
