2008 Rates

Does anyone know when the 2008 rates come out? We are planning on going in April and would just like to know what we are up against?

as far as I know, rates won't be out until August/sept...I think they are coming out later because Disney is making some changes to their reservation system.

Just an FYI, I called this morning at 7:30 to order my tickets and the cm told me the system was down at least until 11:00 am for some system upgrades. Maybe this means the 2008 rates are getting closer. Lets keep our fingers crossed

I called this morning as well and they told me the system is down until 3. That's gotta be close now! Can't wait to book my package.

I called last week and the CM told me 2008 rates will be available the last week of July. Don't know if that is going to hold or not. I had also heard something about the first weekend in July, but that never happened.

What about "season dates"?

We are planning on a Dec. 2008 trip the week BEFORE Christmas. During that week for 2007 it goes from "value" to "holiday" with a huge increase. Just want to make sure we stay in the "value" category

I can't find 2008 season dates anywhere....I guess that is part of the 2008 rates adjustment?

I was making a reservation this morning and the CM told me that they were expecting the 2008 rates "really any day now." Take it for what it's worth - but that's what she told me.
