I haven't been able to find the schedule of events for the 2008 MVMCP - I found 2007's - is it the same every year? I'm just trying to make some adr's for our trip in Nov. Thanks!

Thanks. I had found that page, but listed after the dates, there is a sentence that says: NOTE: Except for the ticket prices, all of the information below is from the 2007 event I assumed that meant the time for events was from 2007...am I reading that wrong??
Thank you!!

The event changes from year to year, but I don't think the 2008 information is out there yet--as far as schedules go. Most of the time you have to wait until something is printed (and, often times, released to the general public--aka first party).

As far as ADR's go, you know the time of the party (and can get into the park at 4 PM)--that hasn't changed! You will want to be in the park and ready to hit the party no later than 6:45 PM, imo. Make an early ADR for dinner, or just plan on getting counter service. You can find which restaurants will be open when.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
(MVMCP)

2008 DATES!

November 10, 11, 14, 16, 20, 21, 30
December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 19

I read from the site it shows the castle lighting only on Thur/Fri/Sat? Is that true, was that for last year or this years plans?

Is this worth it?? Are the other parades just as good? It seems like a lot of money  . We have 6 in our party (4 children & 2 adults).

There is a "castle lighting ceremony" at 5:45 every evening, open to all MK guests.

 I think it is very much worth it. The Christmas parade is precious and this is the only time you can see it unless you watch it on TV. Snow falls on Main Street. There are ornaments, t-shirts, sweatshirts and throws that are only on sale during the party. We have done it twice every time we have been in Dec. The crowds for rides are very manageable with only small waits and after the second parade almost no lines at all. We feel like we are getting all the festivity and limited crowds for the price. If you order in advance for certain dates you can save a couple of dollars.:santa:

Besides the Christmas Parade there are different Christmas Show, characters dressed in costume, special holiday fireworks, hot chocolate and cookies.

It is alot of fun and have done this twice before and plan on doing this this coming November.
