2008 Marathon

I just found out the 2008 Disney Marathon will be held on the 12th and 13th that year (I was hoping they'd be the same dates as 2007). What is this going to do hotel-wise? When should we book our hotel room if staying at a DTD hotel?

We traveled to Disney during (but not for it) the 2002 Marathon. We opted to go at the last minute (expiring annual passes) but had difficulty finding an available hotel room for several nights of our stay -- even though this was just months after 9/11 (and in fairness, many hotels had temp. suspeded some occupency -- e.g. the Port Orleans, Disney Institue, much of the C.B. and Dixie Landings, etc. at Disney was closed).

My suggestion is to book early, especially for the best available deals.
