I am hoping that someone can give me some good advice. I am able to get a good deal that will run out shortly on Under Armor. I am hoping to buy some for the marathon. :woohoo: what is the weather like? would a long sleeve under armor shirt be ok or should I go with a short sleeve. shorts or running pants? thanks so much!

You need to be prepared for anything.

This year it was unseasonably hot. 60s prior to the start. Last year I believe it was in the high 20s prior to the start.

I didn't decide on clothing until a week prior to the race. Shorts and t-shirt were fine. When it's cold folks wear "throw away" clothing and peel as they go.

If you can get a good deal on UA clothing, go for it. But, be prepared for anything. :)

You need to be prepared for everything!! Jan 2006 was freezing cold....literally! Jan 2007 was record heat! I know that isn't much help, but better to be safe than sorry.

Because you have to be in the corral area well before race time - for the cold lots of folks visit Good Will and buy outer layers that they will toss off as soon as the race starts. WDW collects the clothing, cleans it, and donates it to homeless shelters.

Hopefully 2008 will land somewhere between 2006 and 2007 temps!

What they said. 2006 went from 32 to 67. 2007 went from 69 to 85-ish and 90% humidity.

Average weather in January, though has a low from 40 to 60 and a high from 60 to 80. Sorry that we can't help more!

If yiou follow my 3 bears theory, 2008 should be just right. ;) We can only hope!

You forgot what they had at Boston today:( It's been a while.

After suffering(cold & hot) through Goofy the last 2 years, I hope Carrie is right:)

thanks everyone. I have lived in Boston all my life and the weather can change every 5 minutes. Thanks for all your advice, layers, layers, shed, shed.:thumbsup2
