2008 in Disney World

2006 was the Happiest Celebration on Earth. 2007 was the Year of a Million Dreams. Does anyone know what 2008 is yet? We are on a land and sea vacation in 2008 and was just wondering?? Thanks

This topic has come up on the Rumors Thread and someone stated that Disney was not doing a "major" themed celebration for a while. No one know for sure, but the regulars on that thread tend to know so much about what is happening. They have a lot of contacts. (So they say.)

So it will be Years of a Million Dreams? Actually I would love that. I have taken 2 trips so far (the third is coming in October) during the YOMD and I have really enjoyed it. The funny thing is that in reality most of the giveways are very inexpensive for them, btu don't you feel really special after getting something from the Dream Team?

I'd love if they continued YOMD through 2008! I like this promotion a lot! We didn't get any dreams last visit but maybe on our March trip we would get lucky!

Extended would be great. Isn't Epcot celebrating 25 years this October? Maybe have something to tie into that?

We too are going in May 2008 and I would love to see YOMD extended. We haven't been since 2004, so we have missed all the fun celebrations. (well we were there in 1997 when the castle was a big pink cake)

I noticed your trip ticker and it matches mine exactly! We are doing a land and sea also in May! 3 days at WDW first then 4 day cruise! How about you?

Very cool that you get to do both. We are too, but in a different way.

Well, we are doing the 7 day Western on May 3-10 and then the parks till the 16th. We cashed in Marriott points so we got our flights and 1 week at the Residence Inn for free. Thought we would take advantage of already being there and take an extended trip. I am so excited I can hardly wait. Also, my parents will be on the cruise with us.
