The package needs to be paid for ahead of time so you would get a one day ticket that she could keep for another trip and since the dining is free and they require all people to be a check-in the dining credits would be taken away once they see she is not there.
Free dining is MUCH different than when you buy the plan then. I bought my dining plan through DVC in October of 2007 we went with 4 adults 1 child and 1 infant initially. My sister met us a few days later, but I bought the plan for her length of stay. We had NO problem getting her KTTW card and her credits were on the plan, even though she physically wasn't with us at check in.
I suppose it's to keep people from abusing the free dining.
As far as answering the OP's question = Wouldn't they have to pay for her to be in the room for the entire stay, even though the friend wasn't there?
Thanks for all the great info. We will be on the DP while at the BWV on points. If we check into out next resort on friday am (which we don't have the DP) do we lose the chance to finish up any unused credits? Does that make any sense![]()
I'd like to check in but use our last credit for dinner friday night.
Sorry for the double post. Still getting the hang of this!
We currently have a free dining package booked for two people. A third friend wants to join us. We would welcome her! However, her past history shows that, very often, at the last minute, she backs out of the plans. What would happen to her park ticket (1day base, she's got an AP) and dining credits if she ends up not joining us after we've added her to the ressie?
TIA
Thanks! Where is this info posted? I couldn't even find it at disneyworld.com$69.99 and $19.99
Good I know it's not just me thenI'm not sure! I know it's not in the FAQ post at the beginning of this thread (I reread it before posting!); I just "know" how much it costs. I can't even tell you where, other than these boards; I just tried investigating at the DIS's home site, www.wdwinfo.com - but despite going through several screens and links, I couldn't find anything showing simply the nightly per-person cost of either plan.
I have been reading the (wonderful) spread sheet regarding best values, and I cannot find Teppan Edo...does anyone know if this restaurant is new or has changed names? Or did it just not make the cut?![]()
Teppan Edo changed its name last year from Teppanyaki. It does take the dining plan. However, they took longer than most of the other restaurants to settle their contract and didn't appear on the lists for awhile.
