Well, like Kim-wim and Deb I think it is time for me too to move on. I say this because I think the thread needs to concentrate for those who are working towards the 5K goal and support the ups and downs as each person goes through them. I found this to be a great support for me and truly the reason why I have been able to complete the program.
I will check in, but I don't want to distract anyone with my runs when the whole idea is to move towards program completion.
From the bottom of my heart, I know that every new person will be embraced and welcomed like I was. Just remember that 3 of us have done it, and now it is time for the rest of you too!!
Keep the thread going with your posts, it will not only help you but also encourage those who did not think they could do it too

My new years resolution for the last couple of years was to run an 8 minute mile. I got to 10 minutes last year, but sort of gave up when the holidays hit (we are talking Halloween here, so it has been a while since I have gotten on the treadmill prior to starting C25K). I decided to up the anti on myself with this program and get to 3 8 minute miles! Suicidal...you betcha!

Good for you for conquering W1D1!!!!!!
That's a LOT of pressure to put on yourself! You have a great plan set up and I'm sure you'll see great results.
I really think that is the hardest part of this whole deal. You're doing what a lot of people out there are NOT doing. You're taking charge of your life.
Adding the swimming back in will only help your endurance with the c25k, so I think that was a GREAT idea!
You're doing great, and I love that you and your husband are doing this together.
That's just so helpful to have that kind of support.
last Saturday. We're going to walk 5 days a week, off Wednesdays and Sundays. We go throughout our neighborhood, and do about 2.5 miles in 45ish minutes. We'd like to start C25King it, but our neighborhood is full of hills. If we're not walking up one, we're going down one. Only about 1/4 of mile is flat. Do you job on hills?? Should we jog down them?
