Em had her best PT session EVER on Thursday! We call things like this inch stones at our house.

Sarah's substitute for 1st grade is a jerk. Her teacher is on matenity leave and he feels it is his job in life to make every child conform to his ideals.. I have gone from a kid who loved school to one who hates it.. She will be having her Kindergarten teacher next year for second grade and we are SOOOOO excited about that!

Jen...glad to hear that you are seeing progress with Em! Good luck with everything in Boston. Sorry that Sarah's sub is so bad. Its hard enough changing teachers during a school year then when the new one is so difficult it makes things worse. I don't love Bryan's teacher this year. I think she is close to retiring and she just seems finished. This is no warm fuzzy feelings with her but Bryan is learning (although not much) and he hasn't really complained. I was just hoping his first experience in elementary school could have been more positive.

On the way home we stopped off at a retail park and Paul bought me a tankini set for the Cruise. Here's the link, for some reason I can't copy the picture, but here it is

Also Kerry and Becky have just rang and said that they're staying at their friends tonight, so Paul & I have got a night out - woohoo ! I can't wait

The kids just got dropped off from the inlaws and are giving us the highlights..lol
The fil was o.k. but the mil started right away on nicole with you have to much eye makeup on go wash it off and i hate your hair why do you have that streak of pink in thr front..Gee I wonder why my kids hate her..

Your mil sounds like how my grandmother. She never had anything nice to say only things I could improve or comparing me to my sister or cousins. Grandmothers just aren't supposed to be like that!

I weigh myself everyday. So far i have lost 11 1/2pounds in 15 days
not bad i guess
i wish it was more though..lol

WOW...that is so much weight you lost in such a short time! You have really been so good...I have gained some this week but I am getting back on track tomorrow. You are so dedicated I will try follow your lead!

Hi everyone

We had a busy but nice weekend. It was great getting to meet up with Laurie and the kids. Anthony and Dominic are such sweet and nice boys! It was such fun to visit with Laurie but wish we had more time. Laurie is so friendly and we had lots to talk about. Bryan kept talking about his new friends and asking when he will see them again.

The kids had a great time swimming in the hotel pool. They were also happy because Tom's cousins have 3 dogs. We had to tear one out of Bryan's arms today because he wanted to take it home. The only one who probably didn't have the most enjoyable weekend was Tom. He ended up at his cousin's Saturday and back today fixing their computers for hours. Then we had traffic on the way home and didn't get back until 6pm where he found his brother waiting for him to fix his computer. On top of it all he had a cold and headache most of the weekend.

Just got home from work and i am glad to report the evening was uneventful.. .I am staying up till 12 so i can do my sunshine survey and won't have to do it tomorrow.

Thanks for the positive thoughts about my weight loss but i don't know how much longer i can keep it up. I am tired of being hungry all the time and craving fatty foods day and night..lol

I will check in with all of you tomorrow.

Glad you had a great weekend Veronica How was the hotel ? as you were a bit worried about it before you left. What a shame that Tom couldn't enjoy it as much as the rest of you. It's a bit unfair having visitors round and then expecting them to fix your computers

You're doing so well Michele, but I think you will eventually have to introduce a daily or weekly treat to keep you happier with your dieting, otherwise you'll end up thinking about food all the time. Keep up the good work - you're doing great !

You won't be able to stick to the diet if you don't have some rewards Today I get back on track after gaining a little over a pound last week...after weigh in on Monday I really slacked off

Mandy...hope your busy errand day is almost done! Were you good at the grocery store or buy some goodies? The hotel was nice...it showed some signs of wear and tear but it was clean and it had a pool!

Unfortunately my shopping trolley was full of goodies, as it's Becky's birthday on Wednesday. I am going to try extra hard not to eat cake and chips this week.

I am working today and Friday.... Tues through Thurs, the boys have early dismissal, which means, they are out by NOON! UGH Tomorrow I am going to have to do some foodshopping for Easter - and of course that NEEDS to be done before the boys get home - who wants to hear them complain.. Then Wednesday - I have to be at school for 10ish - to distribute pizza to the classes at 11 - PTA is giving them their 'snack' that day - well, Tues and Weds actually, but, I am only going when I'll get to see my kid, so I told them I can't do Tuesday.. Then, I have to call today to make a nail appointment for Thursday.. work Friday - at some point, I need to pack, clean, cook, prepare for easter and the trip on monday - so, this ought to be good! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. And let's not forget that Carm is working till 8 on Tuesday and 11(pm) on Weds and Thurs, so, it's me and the boys all week - all alone! LOL So, I ought to be pulling my hair out!

Michele- great job with the weight loss. It's been 14 days today for me and I've lost exactly 10 pounds. I'm super happy with that as I haven't been that good. I agree with everyone else, you have to have one "treat" day. My day us usually Sunday.

As it's a school day, Becky hasn't got any plans for Wednesday. Instead on Friday we are taking Becky, Kerry and a couple of friends toboganning at the SnowDome. Then it's back to us for a Transformers Party Sleepover and we're leaving the girls to it, and stopping at a local hotel and going out for an Italian meal (Mmm, I can't wait).

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Had a really busy weekend, the Gymnastics meet is over, DD sang the Star Spangled Banner twice. I was so nervous, especially the second time, because she competed that session also. I realized she had not warmed up the singing, while she was out on the floor warming up the gymnastics, so she came off the floor, lined up with her team and then walked over and sang. From a mom's point of view, she did a great job and all of her teammates thought it was cool, she even got a hug from her coach! Then she competed and had her personal best scores on vault and beam and she won the all around for her age level! I was so proud of her, she has worked so hard. I wish I had half of her work ethic and just a tiny bit of her confidence. I have no idea where it comes from!

I am working all week, the kids are off Friday through the whole next week! I hate it when they are off and I have to work. I work from home and get nothing done!

I want to hear more about the WW. I need to loose weight desparately, but have never had any success. A friend is trying to get me to try WW. I want to get back to the gym this week, I am finally over the bronchitis and can breath again. I can't believe how fast you lost weight. I was reading a post on this site and it talked about all of the products with High Fructose Corn Syrup and that by cutting it out of your diet, you crave sweets less and feel better. It is in everything! I am going to try it, but it will mean giving up Coke, which I should do anyway, I just don't want to
