Thanks mandy, The concert is called taste of chaos..it is really a mix of 5 bands playing that she likes it is on the 20th so for tonight it is just a night out with the family and the bf at outback. I am going to get her some balloons and flowers later and decorate her room all pretty with streamers etc.

I've been a busy bee this morning, I've ran my errands in town, picked up somthing for Kerry, bought my train tickets for Thursday, stripped all the beds and gotten rid of those pesky grey hairs
I'm going to chill for half an hour, start remaking the beds and then I'll do my exercises after lunch
Will the weather be any better at Myrtle Beach, it sounds like a lovely place. How long are you going to be away at your dads ?

Mandy - no nap yet - I dropped Ant and Andrew off at school, went to the foodstore, came home, put the stuff away, and put the load of wash in the dryer, had breakfast, and here I am!

I am going to do a bit of work till around 10ish - then, I am going to Coach to use my giftcards - I still didn't make it there .. then I'll be back for Little House - LOL - I LOVE that show!!

Carm brought up the totes for me to go through the clothes - so, I'll get to that at some point today - so, looks like a nap isn't in the cards for me - I actually have THINGS to do!

The weather down by Dad's should be in the 70's or so - so, not beach weather .. we haven't been down there since he moved, so, we'll at least get to see his place, and see what else is going on there.. they are building the Hard Rock Theme Park there, but that won't be open until April - so, we'll be able to check that out next time!

I have to vent here ..I find it pretty darn sad when people we haven't known that long remember her b day and her own grandfather snubs her last night.. The fil cam eover last night to supposedly visit the kids yah right and he didn't even wish her a happy b day or give her a present. She is pretty hurt considering he made a point of coming over the day before for sarah's b day. They are asses..I really hate them. O.k. i am done now.

I have a lot of errands to do for her b day so i will pop in and out today..Thanks for letting me vent..

Feel free to vent away - I can't believe he forgot/ignored her bday - that is totally rude - I am surprised Jeff didn't say anything to him..

Hi guys just dropping in to say Hi. How's everyone's weather? Its raining here as normal.

Hi Sandra! The weather here is finally sunny! Too bad that the warmer weather went away..we are back to highs in the low 40's.

No problem - I didn't really give you anything - just a name! LOL So far so good w/baseball - no practice scheduled yet - so, keep keeping your fingers crossed!!!! I'll stay away from the Mets till opening day - hopefully by then, my bad luck will be gone!

I ended up booking a hotel last night. Its a Hilton Garden Inn. It was cheap and has an indoor pool (and has decent ratings) so we are set to go for Saturday! I'm hoping all goes well with you too...I'd love to get to meet The Mets tied yesterday against Boston so no loss

WTG on the 8 pounds - that is great news! I am not optimistic for weight loss this week - I was BAD last night again! I might not go for weigh in - LOL I'll wait a week! I just can't deal w/that 'gain' at the scale!

Thanks for the support! You'd be surprised...I was bad a few days before the weigh in too but I'm lucky I only get weighed once a month so I have more time to recover from bad days! A few days of being good and exercise and that gain will be wiped away

Veronica - Idol tonight - WOO HOOO!!!

So, they won't need shirts - and according to my father, it won't be beach weather, so, we probably don't need bathing suits - I gotta tell ya, I thought it might be good weather to do something down there, why go to Myrtle Beach - if you can't go to the beach???? Carm is itching to catch the end of spring training in FL - but, we promised my Dad we would come down and check out his place - Oh, well! So, we go and suffer for a few days -

I'm excited for Idol tonight! I like it much better after its down to the final 12.
As for Myrtle Beach, you might be surprised with the weather. We went to Hilton Head a few years back in April and it was beach weather. I know Hilton Head is further south but with the crazy temp. swings we've been having you never know. Pack the suits just in case you find a heated pool or have a heat wave

I was just doing my exercise DVD, and jiggling around like a half wit, when the window cleaner appeared at my front room window

You have never seen me move so fast, I think I broke the speed barrier as I ran up the stairs so fast

I couldn't even look him in the eye when I was paying him - I must've looked a sight

We will be cruising with you guys. It will be our 2nd cruise, PIL took us last year for our 20th anniversary in June and they went again in Nov for their 50th! We are all going together again Eight in all

We live outside of Phila We have 2 dogs 6 cats and 8 fish. We lost power the other night too and I was afraid the fish would die. My youngest said " then we would have to have 7 tiny fish funerals" Luckily the power was back on in a few hours!

We have been to WDW about 13 times, dd#3 was a Disney "souvenier"

Looking forward to getting to know you guys, i read through a bunch of posts but you guys are very busy! I will probably not post that often even though I am on the computer constantly for my job. I am self employed and spend 4 days a week taking my daughter to gym 12 hrs a week and running the other 2 to piano, track, brownies etc.

Maybe you could give me a quick run down of your families. I know my daughters will be looking for friends!

OMG - I could totally EAT the ENTIRE thing of cheesefries myself!! And the Outback salad is the best - if you are 'trying' to be good - get the 'tangy tomato' dressing - that is supposedly fat free! LOL

That is SO funny!! I close the door when I do the DVD - so NO ONE sees me! I'll do the treadmill when Carm is on the elliptical, that doesn't bother me - the DVD is a different story!!!

Girls - just a quickie - it came up today, that we MAY be going to Disneyland this November!! DH brought it up today - being we have the amex miles to use - we didn't use them for the cruise, because airfare isn't AS pricey to go to FL as CA - so, we are thinking of doing it - so, keep your fingers crossed for me - I think he is pretty excited about it - and HE brought it up, so I GUESS I'll go IF I HAVE TO!! LOL

No nap for me - I went to coach and got a great pocketbook and some sunglasses!! SO, I am 'stylin' today - in my fancy jeans, disney t-shirt, and fancy bag/sunglasses!!!
