I'm going to an overnight girl's night out this friday at the Embassy Suites with 7 girlfriends. There will be over 200 woman there with all sorts of vendors giving manicures, pedicures, massages, selling "naughty" things etc. You should see the list of food and drinks the 8 of us are bringing I will be useless for the rest of the weekend. But I can't wait we are going to have so much fun. It will be my warm up for our contest

Mandy (I can't find what page to quote your questions)--we have AKV booked for the 24-28 of April. I figure if Keegan needs the surgery to remove the mass, I can always stuff him in a double stroller and get lots of nasty looks for having a 10 y/o in one! He's 4 ft. 9 and about 72 pounds so I'm sure he'd have to sit sideways from one corner to the other. I'm hoping by then he'll be back to running around again and we will just take it easy. We have annual passes, so we can just go to the parks for a couple hours and go back to the pool. The oncologist said if he does need surgery, he'll probably have it in 2 weeks so we'd have a month to have him rest up. If he's not up to it, we'll just cancel the trip. Right now we have booked
Friday-Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner
Saturday-Tusker House Safari breakfast
Sunday-Hollywood and Vine character lunch
Monday-Garden Grill lunch.

It's going to be a quick trip, but with everything that has been going on we need it more than ever! Keegan and I were watching the Travel Channel last night's Cruising Do's and Don'ts (we've seen it before but we never get tired of it) and he saw the Magic/Wonder and said he just can't wait to be back onboard.

As usual, I am at work, and have time to 'play' around on the boards - and NO ONE is around!!!!!!

Michele- guess who the boss has w/him today? UGHHHHHHHHHHHH ... He is on the phone now, going to take the little one to TimeSquare to Toys R Us - then, bringing him here.. hopefully I am gone by then!! LOL

I'm here, I'm just recovering from my walk earlier. I couldn't be bothered to do my DVD, so I went for a very brisk walk. I must look demented walking double-quick trying to keep in time to all the disco/rap music on my Ipod Shuffle

I'm just waiting for the girls to come home and then I can get their tea on soon

Look at you 'rocking-out' w/the Ipod! LOL I haven't exercised in a while - still haven't gotten on track there.. maybe if it is nice afterwork, I'll take a walk around the neighborhood....

So, Mandy - let me ask this - what do you do for 'tea' - and what time is it usually? I know it's not a meal - kinda like a snack, right????

I am having an OK day, the boss hasn't been here yet, so that is a bonus.. he is a nice guy, but, when he is around - we can't 'fool around' here!! And when he brings the kid.. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... He has the little guy, he is 4 or 5, and goes to preschool - the older one is in school - HE is the trouble one - very bossy and obnoxious.. the little one is fun at least!

Where is my evil twin today - I spoke to her before I left for work, but she hasn't been around all day...

Well 'tea' is our main meal of the day, or should I say dinner. Lunch is usually a sandwich and snack kinda meal, then at tea time (for us around 4 or 5 pm) we have our main meal. With my dieting, I'm trying really hard not to eat after 6pm - so I end up going to bed hungry

Another 'tea' that us Brits can have is 'afternoon tea' which is like a cup of tea, cucumber sandwiches and scones with cream. That is more of a stereotypical thing us Brits are supposed to do, and it's more of a touristy thing (though it's very nice too )

Phew, I managed to avert World War III this afternoon, after a few tears and a bit of honesty from both of us, Becky & I have cleared the air and had a hug. I hate it when I argue with the girls, it always upsets me. So I'm pleased we talked it through and all is well with the world (well till the next time )
