The call couldn't have come at a worse time for nicole because she was just starting to make her sweet sixteen plans last night. I am not really happy with her now so the last thing i want to do is plan her birthday. jeff is going to lose it when i tell him tonight. He is much stricter than i am and we just had a big discussion with her about her french class. It's that $#% boyfriend of her's it's all his fault she is messing up lately.

Michele we went through this last year with Tori & math. We had a tutor and everything but no luck. She is taking the class over this year. I hope you can get Nicole back on track. Tori's issue was not doing her homework too. The plus is that she learned her lesson albeit the hard way and we haven't had an issue with homework this year.

All the teachers in the break room were talking today about a big storm coming and we might have a snow day wednesday. Man we never work a full week

I'm worried about driving to Boston tomorrow. Who knows how bad it will be driving home. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

No new news from Keegan's doctor. He said his lungs still sound the same. No temperature, no swollen lymph nodes but he's lost 4 pounds since Thursday and he's been eating a lot. I am hoping it's from the fevers sweating it out. His doctor said that the mass in his lung is non identifiable by him and the radiologist. It MAY be pneumonia, but's it's very atypical. He said he could have had the flu and got pneumonia as a side effect. He said he's seen that frequently lately though Keegan's came on very fast. He showed me the blood results and the white cells were a bit high and the neutrophils were too. He said that's normal with an infection. He said the blood work can miss illnesses though. Great. I feel like we are going in circles. He said he'll feel more confident once he has the CT scan. Mamsi told them they had until 5PM tomorrow to approve it but they finally approved it while I was there after 3 calls from the Dr. today. I can't wait until this time tomorrow. This has truly been an awful few days.

How long did Dominic have it? Was he constantly tired? Keegan's so pale white with dark circles under his eyes even after sleeping a lot more than usual. I know they say the oxygen in the blood is reduced and that can happen, but it's scary. How long was he out of school? Did he have a fever a lot? Sorry for so many questions, but it's all so new to us.

Dominic went through two rounds of antibiotics, and coughed FOREVER!!! He was pretty functional, he didn't miss that much of school, he never spiked a fever or anything like that - so, he was pretty lucky!

Keep us posted on his progress..

Well girls my exercise DVD's came today so no more excuses. I have to Walk Away The Pounds. Even came with a nice purple stretchie band I will start first thing tomorrow. Today a big cheeseburger is on the menu with fries

Thanks everyone for all the information! Based on all the advice I will go for 'Ohana for breakfast. I'm really starting to get excited! Now I just have to figure out what days I want to be where and book the ADRs.

Laurie, this committee was Parents as Reading Partners. We are planning 3 weeks of activities for April. Still sounds much easier than your talent show though!!! Its amazing what we will do for our kids and their school isn't it.

When are you planning on O'hana? We are going to go there on the 29th, I have to wait to book it - I think Mandy said 3/1 - Thanks Mandy!

Veronica - we are working on the 'read across america' in our school - we have to go in on Friday for a door decorating contest, then Monday we go in for the end of the progam assembly - the students met the reading goal, so, the principal is going to kiss a chimp!! Whatever!!!! LOL But, we have to be there for the assembly, and to give out the awards for the door decorating, and all of the kids are going to get soft pretzels, so, we have to receive them, and bag them and deliver to the classrooms... So, basically, my days off I am 'working' at school.

Thanks Sandy, I hope she gets her act together or she will mess up her future. She is signed up to take advanced fashion classes next year with some field trips to the fashion district and if she has to retake science then she can't do the fashion class. She wants to be a fashion designer.

I had a turkey and cheese on WW multigrain bread, w/my favorite Lays Light Chips - Nothing fab.. for dinner I had 'delicious' fat free hot dogs.. I had a 'hankering' for hot dogs, and after I ate them, I know why I haven't had them for a LONG time!!

I just came up from the basement - I was on the treadmill!

So, it's after 8 - how did the Jeff/Nicole thing go?!?!?!?

We have been out of town, Shaelyn my 8 year old does competition cheerleading and we were in Ocean City Maryland for a competition. There were around 5,000 cheerleaders Shae's team placed 3rd in her division. We had a great time and we don't have another one until March 16.
