What a day so far...

The agent showed up about 10:15. We end up talking about my dog (a beagle) the first 10 minutes and how much she loves animals. She goes on to tell me how she was on the Today show last week because she turned her husband in as one of the scruffiest men in America and won a makeover for him. She met Uno, the beagle that just won the Westminister dog show there...she then got to the questions about my past dual US/UK citizenship, etc. etc, etc. It's all basically just making sure I have no outside the US gov't interests and that I can keep my mouth shut with confidential information and that I would't be a risk to the US gov't in any way. I had to verify that my travels on Disney cruises to foreign countries were not gov't/business related. She said we must really like Disney!

DH and I go to lunch (he's on evening shift this week) and decide to hit the brand new opening of Duncan Donuts---we should be doing the walk away the pounds video ourselves but couldn't pass up the donuts---"for the boys."
While we are waiting I get a call from ds10's school nurse. I'm thinking uh-oh because he HATES doctors, dentists, nurses and would basically have to be bleeding or have a fracture of some sort to have to go to the nurse. She says he came from gym having a hard time breathing, his blood pressure is sky rocketed and his chest hurts. We had ordered the donuts and were stuck in the drive thru behind a car so we got our donuts and immediately pick him up, making an appt. at his peds office on the way to get him. The nurse says he has no fever and his bp went down while he was waiting for us 10 minutes. By the time we go to the pediatrician, his temperature went to 101. The doctor said his chest is clear with her stethoscope but they want xrays to rule out the start of pneumonia. Now I'm waiting for ds7 to get home in 10 minutes to get him and head to the hospital and wait on getting xrays. The doctor said it may just be one of the viruses going around. There truly is nothing more scary then having a sick child.

What a stressful day. Sending lots of pixie dust your way - please keep up posted.

stitch was being crazy and stealing my nephews stuffed animal and trying to climb the outside of the elevator. It was hysterical!!!

I haven't looked at these photos in so long. The girls look so little to me. Sydney actually turns 8 tomorrow. I am so glad she's finally feeling well enough to celebrate. She ate her first real food yesterday when we went out for lunch:thumbsup2 She's having a party at indoor mini golf on Saturday:cool1:

Any hot h2o yet??????

Nope - they are coming back tomorrow to check it and hopefully put it back together. I keep trying to get DH to go back to a hotel and he says no. We did that on Saturday night. I just want a shower - ick.

I don't blame you Sandy. I'll say a little prayer for you:wizard:

I get to call tomorrow to make my ADR's for WDW. I'm so excited.

We are back from the hospital and waiting on hearing from the doctor about the results. Keegan said he thought he heard the x-ray tech tell someone he had "stat." I had to explain to him that meant to hurry up the results and not something he had. They wouldn't let me come back into the changing area or room at all. I knew I couldn't be in there when he had the actual x-rays but it was weird not being right there with him. Keegan's already sleeping and Brennan's with me watching the Disney channel. I sure hope he doesn't get whatever Keegan has. Keegan's doctor said if it's not pneumonia, it's one of the viruses going around. He'll be home from school tomorrow. They are still expecting a snow fall and I heard if they cancel school, it will be made up in April when we planned to go down for the 4 day weekend. I guess that means I can just fly out earlier!! When Keegan started kindergarten, I thought he'd be one of those kids getting a certificate in 12th grade for not missing school. We planned our Disney trip during spring break only to have them have 2 snow make up days that week. He also happened to have strep throat 4 times that year. His "present" days at school streak didn't make it too far. Now we take them out once a year for a week and sometimes a day or two. They have not missed more than 2-3 sick days a year. Usually they only have 1. Not this year--Keegan's absence tomorrow will be #2 of the year. Then again if it's a snow day it won't count as an absence.

I'll have to find some of our Stitch pictures later. I only have 39,000 pictures on our external hard drive! I am trying to sort the other 20,000 I have in the basement into a couple creative memories storage boxes I bought about 3 years ago and never even put together. I have pictures in 2 under the bed storage boxes (but they aren't under my bed), 2 totes, a 6 drawer sorter, in my night stand and in the guest room closet. I take way too many but at least now they are all digital now!

Crystal Palace - breakfast

I hope he feels better. Ian is one of those kids that is allergic to everything and if anyone near him has strep he will catch it. He models too so he misses school to go on "go-sees" and auditions. He hasn't actually booked a job yet but has been put on hold a few times.

Are you staying at Disney for the 4 day weekend? They came out with a special today, free park hopper and wpf ticket options for April & part of May

I was nice to him this morning and heated water and washed his hair. So he at least feels a bit fresh. I have really long hair and it's too hard to wash mine. Maybe I should just go to the salon and get my hair done - :lmao:
Or better yet book a spa day..........:cutie:

Danielle i hope they let you know something quickly. I'm glad he's resting comfortably right now:goodvibes

Sandy

i've only ever eaten at crystal palace out of those places. It sounds awesome!!!!!:thumbsup2
