I have been busy today - EXERCISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right - I actually opened up the DVD and USED IT!! WOO HOO!! I did the walk away the pounds DVD, only 1 mile - but, it was something.. it was pretty easy - it is one of those things I could probably do in the morning before I go to work - no too much effort, and I don't have to go all the way down the basement to do it!!

Well done Laurie, you just needed to get started, :wizard: Good Luck in keeping it up:wizard:

Mandy - ah... the organized one - I still have to send you my list - I'll try and work on that tonight!!

There's no hurry, we've got plenty of time :thumbsup2

Hi Michele - rainy/windy crappy here - and I'd say, being Valentine's day is tomorrow, you should give your husband till AT LEAST then - technically, that is your V day gift - so, he should have till at least V Day to cut him some slack!!!! :woohoo:!

LOL, that's my way of thinking too :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks Mandy! I'll keep ya posted, I think I am going to get down on the treadmill tonight after dinner...

I have to tell you - I had a mini-goal for myself - it was to lose 20 pounds by the Bon Jovi concert - totally seemed attainable (the show is 3/2) - anyway, I am stuck between 11 and 12, so, now I am going to see what I can do in the next 3 weeks... I figure I can't starve myself, so, I'll have to exercise myself till I pass out!

No problem Suzanne :thumbsup2

 Aww, I hope she's feeling better soon

Till at least Friday I'd say :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

O.k. till friday then. I will let him arrange to his little hearts desire but saturday all bets are off:rotfl2:

Good for you laurie, You have almost motivated me to take the clothes off of my exercise bike...lol

I told ya Michele when he gets done with your house send him up here. Our house would put him into overdrive. Tell him it's his V-day present:rotfl2:

Hope Sarah is feeling better soon. Ian gets those scary high fevers too.

Laurie, enjoy your dinner tonight. You're inspiring me to lose a bit before our cruise. Although I really need to lose more than a bit. More like 50 - 60 lbs.

Lol:rotfl: :rotfl: I don't think that is what he had in mind for his v day present. But thanks for the offer.

Ok girls - I'm searching online for Disney fabric for our FE's. I have to make ours and my MIL's. I just LOVE planning for a cruise. It's a BIG plus too that we will be cruising with such nice people:love:

Dinner was good - and filing - and SO bad for me!! But, OH WELL!!

I have to tell you - my goal, before the trip is 67 pounds - it'll NEVER happen, especially the way I am going! And that wouldn't even be my true 'goal' weight - it would be a good weight to aspire to be, but not totally done - UGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Last year I did really well w/WW - but, when I fell off the wagon, I fell HARD! So, I gained quite a bit back... but, that is besides the point - anyway, I find it better to set the mini-goals, something attainable sooner than 70 pounds - ya know - I know I won't be able to lose the 67 before the trip, I'd be happy w/anything - ANYTHING -

Enough of my diet soapbox over here - it is depressing!!

Laurie-

I was on WW on my own, no weigh ins or anything for the whole summer before our 11 night cruise. I lost 45 lbs, it was melting off. I even lost 10 lbs on the cruise I assume because on the cruise I actually exercised. (always used the stairs, walked deck 4 in the early morning on sea days)
Then for some reason I just stopped. I'm sure part of it was that I was having to cook 2 dinners, mine and my family's. DH and DS will not touch a vegetable, they are meat and potato boys. All the weight is back now. I should start counting my points again and stop drinking soda. It's one of my biggest weaknesses.

Glad dinner was good laurie.
I wish i could lose some pounds but i can't resist temptation of all the goodies in my house. And i can't seem to get to the gym on my own.

Wow You took the stairs and walked in the mornings on sea days. i wish i could get myself to do that.

The car dealership just called and said that my truck should actually be ready to pick up on v day..  They had to install running boards on the sides so i could get in.. When we went to test drive it i had to use the steering wheel to pull myself in. I am to short it was very embarassing.

Yes - it is going to be FUN FUN FUN!!!

I have a silly question - On our last cruise, being it was our second - we got LOTS of Castaway Club goodies - what kind of CC goodies has everyone rec'd - being you have all been on many cruises - I was just curious to see what kind of goodies you got - I love SURPRISES - or FREEBIEs!!! :thumbsup2 Our first trip we booked through AAA - and we got a great box w/goodies in it from them, but others we were on board w/got a great tote bag....

The other thing I love is the DVC freebies that you get on the cruise as well!

Laurie < --- loves the free stuff!

I told DH that if I walked on sea days he couldn't give me any looks when I stopped by and got some ice cream or ordered that extra dessert. Funny thing was he ate more ice cream than me. I stuck mostly to the fresh fruit. Can't beat it when it's already cut up for you :)

That is so great!!! You must be excited?!?!?!?

How are things otherwise over there?

Does anyone watch American Idol?

Sandy that is so great!!! I would NEVER lose on vacation - especially a cruise - you are good girl! I'll be walking w/you on the boat - maybe we can go to the gym??? :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

I can't figure out why this fat won't melt off me!!! I have so much to lose, you would figure it would be a bit easier! I am drinking so much water! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

I never cooked two dinners - I make something that we can all eat, I might make a special side dish for my family, like something delicious like rice-a-roni or something good like that, and I'd just have a big salad w/the meal.

My downfall is I HATE HATE HATE to cook - so, I go out a lot, and I don't usually make the best decisions. Which is why I'll never lose on vacation..

I LOVE soda too - do you drink diet or regular? I LOVE diet soda, but still, soda is soda - even when I am not dieting (which seems to be more than I am dieting - does that make sense?) anyway - I am the one that goes to Wendys and gets a single w/cheese combo - BIGGIE SIZE w/a diet coke! :rotfl2:

I am getting hungry already! Oh, and no treadmill tonight!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: Already falling off the exercise wagon!

The key is - don't buy the goodies - OR don't buy the goodies that YOU like!! LOL It's hard w/kids - you have to have some goodies in the house!

Oh yeah - if it is precut and ready for you, it's the BEST~

That's like w/salad - I LOVE salad when someone else makes it! I can make a meal out of a salad from like Saladworks or Applebees - but, I can't seem to make a meal out of a salad I make at home, it is SO much better when you pay $10 for a salad!! :scared1:

Our 1st CC Club gift was a really nice beach bag, navy and cream stripes with Mickey on it. Next CC Club gift was a smaller bag with 2 mesh bags, 2 cups, sunscreen, hand wipes, a magnet and some other stuff. I think it has changed again since then.

I love the Mickey head rice crispy treats that you get for free at the CC Club reception. Of course food is my favorite freebie :rotfl:

Laurie you and I are going to be great friends. We are alot alike. I HATE to cook. I went to Price Chopper tonight and got scallops and haddock, fried of course. When I was dieting I would eat sliced cucumber and grape tomatoes with a tiny bit of the salad crumbles cheese and three squirts of salad spritzer italian dressing. Breakfast was either a tiny bowl of oatmeal or a poached egg on dry toast. Dinner was where I spent all my points :D Unfortunately I don't like diet soda except for Fresca. I think I will have to start getting that again instead of sugar laden Mountain Dew and Cherry Pepsi.:drinking1

What a Happy Valentine's Day you will have! I am super short too, 5' 1". I can totally relate to using the steering wheel to pull yourself up.:rotfl:
