Did anyone read the boards from the link that Mandy posted about them? Would you guys be interested in doing something like that??

I am happy to take part, even if it means I have to stick a Wal-Mart carrier bag outside our stateroom :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It'll be fun to buy little gifts that are UK orientated - cos I know you won't have any :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I'm here I'm here! I went for a snow shoe walk to get in my 30 minutes of cardio! I have some serious work to do before this cruise! Now I am loading tons of CD's on my iPod for school!

I need to check out the fish extender better.. I may try to make one. Don't hold your breath but I may try!

Did I mention I told Dh we should get 10 day, hopping tickets, with no expiration in case we want to go to the parks in August? I told him if we did the no expiration we could use them on the next trip.. He actually agreed! I can't believe it!

What else is new?

Hey Jen, have you had a great weekend at your carnival and ice palace ?

How exciting to get tickets where you'll know that you're going back again. We once bought Annual Passes and we were so thrilled to use them for 3 trips to WDW.

I've had a look on ebay for those fish extenders, and I've put a bid on one of them. I doubt I'll win it, but it's fun having a go :thumbsup2

I'm back! I had a lot of catching up to do! But I have to disappoint you...I don't sew:sad2: . Those outfits on my kids were bought at the Disney Store. I would love to do the fish extender though. I will buy one or attempt to make one (maybe bribe my MIL)

Not even sure if you are going to read this before you leave - BUT - we are going to be about 10 mins from Linden today - and are planning to meet friends for lunch after the ccd/haircut thing... guess where one of the places is that we are talking about going???????? ONE is Applebees - which is good for me and the WW - the other is in good ole' Menlo Park Mall - THE RAINFOREST CAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to live 5 mins from that mall before we moved down to Marlton! The food at Rainforest is OK - nothing fabulous, but the atmosphere is really cool! We probably won't be going till around 2ish, after everything else is done!

Anyway, off to the shower - gotta get ready to leave here at 7:30!

Sorry I didn't get your message before I left. We were out of the house pretty early to make sure we got there on time (never know how the traffic will be on Staten Island). We didn't end up going to the mall:sad2: I really wanted to take the kids to the Rainforest to give them a break from the day but DH's cousins needed their computers fixed so we ended up going to their house for hours while DH fixed computers (after having very little sleep on his red eye...barking dog in the next row of the plane). We didn't get home until about 7:30pm so it was a long day. Today I am trying to catch up on some things around the house since we are leaving a week from today for Miami to visit my niece, her husband and their brand new baby boy .:yay:

Hope I didn't miss anything but I have rambled long enough! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! (No more mishaps Michele?)
Veronica

Hey Veronica, it sounds like you've had a busy weekend. Well you were my last chance for a nice new fish extender ;) Well all I can say is that I hope no-one rips anything on this Cruise - cos we're all going to be pretty rubbish with a sewing kit :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Enjoy the rest of your day guys, it's 9.30pm over here and I'm half way through the second episode of Lost - it's brilliant :thumbsup2

Veronica - come out, come out wherever you are :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Guess what, hubby has decided to take me away for the evening on Friday to a nearby town, and we're going to go out for a nice meal (woohoo !!), so the girls will probably have a couple of friends over for a sleepover

I'm really looking forward to it :thumbsup2 I love last minute getaways

Yah have a nice time mandy.

Oh well veronica that's o.k. we still like you...lol I wonder who it was that said they sewed their daughters little dresses.

Mandy i have never even attempted using a sewing kit and i don't think i plan on it in the future..lol:rotfl: :rotfl:

I just got the best surprise from hubby for valentines day. He told me we were going to the store to look at a desk for sarah's room but really we went to the car dealership and bought me a new truck. I am so excited it is a gmc sierra denali. It is black with black interior and it has a dvd player in it..I love him so much:love: I don't even know how to top that for his present now. It was so out of the blue that he decided to do this.

We actually bought 10 day hopper w/no exp back in 05 - we just finished it up this November - probably 5 trips! LOL - but, we also bought 'extra' tix - like Pirate and Princess Party - instead of using a hopper day, we'd use that just for MK - also, we found out on one of our trips last year on a REALLY old pass, we had 2 days left, and 4 waterpark days... WOO HOO - that was like Christmas!! We have never purchased the APs - no clue why, especially because we were there 3 times last year. We usually go for a week, but, we don't go to the park everyday, but if we had APs - we would go for a little while each day - usually, we do 'do or die in a day' in the parks, we are out from opening to closing - total maniacs!! :scared1: But, then we have like 3 or 4 days of relaxing at the pools, taking in character meals out of the parks, Downtown Disney - LOTS of things.. So, now we have to buy all new passes, not sure when we will be getting back to the parks.. the price of tix are getting higher each year, so, we have to figure out a plan!

Anyway - WOO HOO for you on the passes - enjoy them!

Enough of my rambling... Did anyone watch the Grammy's by the way.. BORING!! Too much music! LOL Not enough awards - I checked it online, NOT happy w/the results, so - I put on Bret Michaels "rock of love" and said the heck w/the grammy's.

Off to bed - work tomorrow.. :sad1: Goodnight all!

OH yea - we are all day all night types - LOL We hop around - we've actually done all 4 parks in one day!! Hit all the 'biggies' in each one and move along!

Anyway... on the Fish Extenders.. I found a 'friend' ;) that makes them and would be willing to help us out - anyone interested, PM me and I'll pass on her info!

Another park commando family here. Our trip before this cruise will be Tori's friend's first visit. We're trying to squeeze everything into 3 days. I'm so gonna need the cruise just to recover.

Michele congrats on the new truck. What a Valentine's gift

Have a good day everyone

I must say, I'm really impressed with you all, with how long you stay at the parks. Our typical day will be - up for EMH's at whichever park - leave around 11am/12noon - back to the hotel to lie out by the pool - visit a shopping mall - back to a park (but mainly Epcot) - then asleep due to exhaustion in front of the TV between 9pm & 10pm - how lame is that ? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway... on the Fish Extenders.. I found a 'friend' ;) that makes them and would be willing to help us out - anyone interested, PM me and I'll pass on her info!

Laurie - I am currently bidding on the Mickey & pals Fish Extender on ebay, but there was a fantastic Stitch one on earlier this morning, that someone snapped up quickley. So if this all falls through, then I think I'd be very interested - is she making one for you ?

Have a great day girls

Wow, you all have been busy posting! I'll have to go back and read them all later. We had a busy weekend between wrestling and a wrestling fundraiser. Only 3 more weeks and we'll be in baseball season already. I just can't wait for the warmer weather. It was 11 degrees when we got up.

I was looking up insurance quotes on insuremytrip.com and got it for half of what mouseears got us through DCL. We got both August and December's entire trips insured for less than the total DCL for just August.

If anyone scrapbooks and has a cricut, did you see the Pooh cartridges yet? I have the Mickey and Friends and Mickey font cartridges but skipped on the princesses since we have 2 boys and don't do a lot of princess meals, etc. I may pre order the Pooh one though since we tend to hit the Crystal Palace a lot.

We are also park commandos. We are trying to be better about the concept of relaxing though. We just always felt the urge to be in the parks while we were in Orlando and could be there. Plus we wanted to get the most out of our tickets. We bought our family's first AP's last November so we chilled out a bit more in December and even went back to our resort mid day a couple of times! We figured we didn't have to be in the parks all day to get the money out of our tickets like we felt with our MYW tickets. It was cheaper to buy the AP's for the 4 of us than the 10 day no expiration tickets. We knew we'd be in WDW a few times over the full year and would be able to go to parks on the day of arrival and day of departure for a few hours which we normally would never do.

I better go get some work done. It's payroll time/my busy time for work.
