Hey - I am excited :woohoo: - not sure if I told you, but I got the OBC from doing the house party - a big $50 - and I had $50 already, so, I have a HUGE HUGE $100 in OBC - that'll get me a few drinks at least! LOL My TA also offers a 5% cash back after you cruise, so, that is a nice thing..

Michele - what category are you in?? I think I want to hang in your cabin!!

Party in my cabin:banana:   We are in a cat 3 8548 i think it was. I would rather the walt suite but that is way way out of my budget.

Suzanne have you been in a cat 3 before? We did a cat 3 on our last cruise and it is true what they say once you have a suite with all the extra room u can't go back to the regular staterooms. I am spoiled now. I have to work 2 extra shifts now at work to cover the difference in price. But that's o.k. i am worth it(i mean my family is worth it..lol)

Thanks Laurie, but I've just realised that the Disney Magic will be on the West Coast this Summer, what a shame - but for future reference, this is where we went http://www.jettypark.org/

I could always head up for the Thursday 'sail-away' - if it isn't too far from Vero that is?!?! :confused3

Just got home from work, picked up my son from his afterschool club, and dropped him at a friend's house - gotta love it!! So, I can sit and check the boards a bit!!

Well, our first cruise we were in a Cat 11 - so, we moved up to the 9 on our second cruise, I couldn't go back to an 11 for sure - but, if I moved up to a 3 or 4, I am sure there is no way to go back to a 9 - I'll stay where I am for a while - this way I can cruise more often! LOL :rotfl2:

Laurie,
I wish i couldcruise more often but my hubby only wants to go once a year. I have been trying to convince my girlfriend to go next summer just her kids and mine no husband's allowed(HER HUBBY HAS NO INTEREST IN CRUISING AT ALL) She is up for it she just doesn't know if she can save up enough money by then. We'll see . Well laundry is calling me check in later:laundy:

We actually took last year off from cruising - my sis got married at WDW - so, no cruise for me - I would like to do a 7 day next time though, 4 just isn't enough.. our first cruise was a 7 day - it was great! I can't wait to see where the new ships will be bringing us!

Ah yes, laundry - I have to get my clothes out of the dryer too - then I have to run for the little one at 5 - "TAXI????"

I'll try and find out how far away it is for you Laurie, I'll get google-ing tomorrow

We had a Cat.9 for our first Cruise, then booked it again for our 2nd, then we were given a free upgrade to a Cat.6 and we fell in love with the verandah. I can honestly say that I would happily have a Cat.9 if it was the difference between Cruising or not :thumbsup2

I am so lucky, Paul loves being on the Disney Wonder as much as I do :)

I would love to do a back2back 3 & 4 night Cruise rather than a 7 night on the Magic, as I wouldn't fancy all the formal dressing up. I love to wear nice things to dinner, but I really wouldn't want to put on a gown. I'm still hoping that one day one of the new ships will sail to Hawaii

Have a great evening everyone, it's gone 10pm over here and I'm really tired - so Goodnight :)

Goodnight Mandy

Laurie have a nice night too. I think i had better get some paperwork done before my audit next week. Chat tomorrow.

A friend of mine from the UK Community, who is sailing on the first Double-Dip this May, has just PM'd me to say that Palo brunch is being offered on the Wednesday (the 2nd Castaway Cay day). Personally I wish it was on Nassau day, but at least we know now - woohoo !! I can't wait

Oh man I wish it was on Nassau day too. I'm not sure I want to waddle out on to the beach after eating brunch at Palo. :lmao: :guilty:

Just did some boring errands and paperwork.

I worked today and then had a staff meeting until 3pm. I got home just in time to get kids off of bus and then chauffer(sp?) to Girl Scouts, a little laundry and dinner and now kids are going to bed. Woo Hoo. Pretty boring day.

I had to deal with a woman today who thought if she screamed at me she would get better results. She called to get an inspection done for her gas lines and i told her she would have to wait until next monday the schedule is booked. She starts screaming at me that she can't wait that long and demands my husband be there tomorrow...lol..needless to say i didn't respond the way she would have liked. I told her to stop screaming or i would hang up on her and she could find someone else. She said i have already paid you and u can't blow me off. (i should say screamed) I then hung up on her. This lady called back 4 times screaming into the anwsering machine. I left her a message later telling her that jeff would be there monday if she didn't like it she could find someone else. It drives me crazy how some people think if they have a lot of money they can act like royalty. Anyway sorry for the rant.

Michele

I never understand how people can actually act that way. I think they are so used to everyone kissing their behinds that they just expect it:confused3 I don't know, I always try to be super nice when dealing with people as I feel that gets me further in the long run:)

I try to be nice as well but if u aren't nice to me ...look out i can be pretty nasty..lol fortunately i don't have to deal with many nasty people.

I'm sorry she was such a#&$#&$#:goodvibes I would have hung up too . I don't need someone screaming at me on the phone either:thumbsup2

Hopefully she will find someone else and never call us again. But i doubt we will be that lucky. She seems to like my hubby and will usually wait till he gets to her (after she throws her usual fit). Tnis is like the third time she had a hissy. At least her checks are good..lol
