What do you guys usually wear to dinners? Do you wear dresses or do you wear pants, skirts???

I usually wear capris to dinner w/a nice top. Carm usually wears like Docker/Khaki pants and a collared shirt, and the boys usually wear khaki type shorts and polos or collared shirts too...

I'm in on that mandy.
I usually wear black capri's and a nice blouse. Hubby does the khaki's and polo. Kids are another story they want to be unique. That they are especially nicole. On a ship full of fairy princesses and smartly dressed little boys and then you have my daughter. She wore her black choker, black boots(sorta cute i have to admit) black and red checked mini skirt black eyeliner like vampira, blood red lipstick, and some black tank top thing with a cover over it. Yes our first meal was definately attention getting. Jeff was not thrilled but he dealt with it. That's her style as odd as it may be. As long as it isn't trampy looking i can deal. She actually made 2 good friends while onboard that were well let's say odd like her. She still keeps in touch with one a lot. The rest of the kids i think were afraid of them...

I also love Kohls and was thinking about swinigng by there on my way to Super Walmart's bakery for birthday cupcakes. When DH was trying to persuade me to move here 6 years ago, once I saw the "Golden Mile" had a Kohls I knew I'd be ok. Fortunately it's really built up over the last several years and is getting many more stores. We used to live in Maryland for 8 years and when we first moved to our town there, there was nothing shopping wise. By the time we moved, we could go to dozens of stores in a matter of minutes. I love living up here because it's far less expensive than where DH works and isn't as crowded with traffic.

When we went on the Med cruise, I bought several dresses from Kohls that are made out of some kind of stretchy material. Not tight lycra- see your every bump material--I looked at the tags and none of them say what they are made from so I'mnot sure. They were really light to wear and pack. Once I wore them, I could roll them up into a softball size ball to pack away. They dry clean very well and were probably about $25 each. The only thing was once I tried on a couple, I didn't try on about 3 others and they were rather low cut. I had to use safety pins to not 'hang out' of them. I wore a couple in December and wore a strappy tank under them for a bit more coverage.
I usually like to wear capris and tops myself, but I was trying to limit how many items I was packing and went with the dresses and a couple capris/top sets. I like the access brand (Liz Clairborne) shirts to wear with black/khaki capris. They are light and can be worn during the day or evening. They pack very well and wash well too. Our local outlet's Liz Clairborne shop just went to a true outlet and everything is now $9.99 and under so I need to head over there. I have far too many clothes as it is and with working at home, I need to cruise just so I can wear them!

I am off to go get cupcakes.

I know what you mean Michele, we went down to dinner last Summer, and Becky wore a lovely top, but she just had to wear denim shorts with fishnet tights underneath - at the end of the day, it's their Cruise too, and sometimes they just like to be different

Well at least nicole will have someone to stand out with..lol sarah has a much more sedate look . A little punk but she tries to dress more approriately than nicole for meals and such.
