When we were on the Magic in December, a woman next to us at brunch was doing high tea and dinner too the same day.

Goodness me  How could they eat that much food in one day ? No, I couldn't do two lots of Palo in one day. I must say, I am looking forward to having a quiet and romantic meal with Paul there :thumbsup2

Well mandy have a nice night you will probably be off to bed by the time i get back on. I am off to start dinner and then survivor. Chat in the morning.:)

Good morning everyone!

Just wanted to say hello. Its been very quiet around this board. I've been busy today with Emily who is still very clingy and Bryan who had a playdate. I noticed your discussion of Palo...my group really doesn't want to do brunch and give up beach time so now I will probably just try for a dinner one evening. I like Mandy's idea of going early then going down to dinner at my usual late seating for a snack if it turns out to be something I don't want to miss (Animator show for the kids). Thanks Mandy!

Question...I'm sure one of you know (and I'm too tired after many nights with little sleep to figure it out) When is 90 days out from our cruise? I just want to make sure everyone is paid up before that date. I'm mostly concerned with my Flounders time. I am really looking forward to Flounders after this week:worship:

Hope everyone is doing well! I especially hope than Jen is getting some good news in Boston!

Morning Veronica, you were up late last night. I worked out Palo to be around 25th May, but I am hoping DCL will send out a letter to confirm this, or that it will appear on our booking closer to the time

Paul & I have eaten at Palo early, and then joined the girls later at our proper dining time twice now, and it worked out really well. The girls actually liked going down to dinner on their own, as they already knew their dining team, so didn't feel shy, then we joined them half way through dinner. We always let our dining team know the night before that we wouldn't be there too :thumbsup2

Jen - are you home yet ? I hope everything went well in Boston

Laurie - Have a safe journey home today, it's been quiet on here without you. Thanks for the emails, it sounds like you've had a great break :thumbsup2

Morning Girls

It's a yucky rainy day here today. I haven't got much on today, I'm going grocery shopping this morning. Then I'm taking the girls to Toys R Us (Transformers hunting - LOL) and then Kerry wants to have a birthday cake made for her friends birthday next week. Tonight I think their friend is sleeping over, and hopefully Paul & I will pop out to our fave wine bar for a couple of glasses of White Zinfandel :thumbsup2

It's weigh-in day today, and I'm pleased that I have lost 1 lb this week. I need to be realistic now, and I hope that I can try and maintain my weight, but hope to lose 1 or 2lbs a month till our Cruise :)

Have a great day everyone

Hey

I've just set up an AIM account so I can talk to the other teens on the cruise, could you all PM their screen names so I can get to know them please?

Thanks :)

Kerry xx

Hi Michele, with the way you're losing weight, I think you'll have lost that pesky pound by tomorrow :thumbsup2

Yes, Kerry has registered with AIM, and it will be great if your Nicole & Sarah, Suzanne's Angelina, Sandy's Tori and Diane's Nicole can chat together (I must get Becky to register too)

Kerry is going to show me what to do (I'm not very computer savvy), so I'll be able to come on as well

Actually girls if you PM me your usernames, I will have them ready (if that's how it works :confused3 :rotfl2: )

So what are you up to today Michele ?

Niki and Kerry have already started to get to know each other, thanks!

As far as bedrooms go, I am trying to build a bedroom and bathroom in our basement for Niki, but it is slow going! My house is really small, we live in a very expensive area surrounded by McMansions. I would love to move somewhere else as I can work from anywhere, but the kids don't want to leave their friends and gym so we are stuck! Maybe I will sign up for Clean Sweep! I could be the poster child for both that and What not to wear! I could probably get on Biggest Loser, too. :guilty: Makes a gal feel really special!

Oh well, I'm a decent web designer, and a pretty good Mom on most days!

We did Palo for our 20th anniversary, it was awsome, but I sort of felt like the Clampitts visit Beverly Hills! I would go back again, but I would rather go jet skiing then to Brunch which I guess is kind of weird coming from someone my size !:rotfl2:

By the way, when can you start making reservations for tours and activities? Is it 90 days like the dining?

Diane

Diane, I have thought more than once about calling Clean Sweep! Our main and upper levels are like a hotel with minimal clutter and very organized. Our basement's a fire hazard according to my parents. I have my scrapbook area, the kids have a play area cluttered with toys, we have a huge air hockey table and then the rest is storage from floor to ceiling. We've accumulated tons of rubbermaid totes with outgrown kids clothes and other "stuff." We have promised ourselves to have a yard sale in late April or early May and put everything very low to get rid of it. We have tons of baby stuff and toys that need to go too. We have donated stuff, but the donation centers around us will only take 2 bags a month and right now are full. I figure even if I get $1 for Nike, gymboree and gap kids clothes it's $1 for the cruise! My DH said anything that doesn't sell he'll donate in Maryland on his way to work. I know we could make a lot more on ebay or consignment shops, but I don't have the patience or time. We also need to make sure the boys are at grandma and grandpa's house so they don't see us getting rid of a lot of old toys.

It's supposed to be in the 60's here, but it's looking gloomy outside. I had to turn on the lights becuase it looks like's it's ready to pour. My parents called from Clearwater beach. Keegan and his friend were wake boarding and boogie boarding. They said it was 80+. I can't wait to be in Florida in 27 days!

I got an email from the fish extender person saying she mailed it. I'll post a picture when I get it.

Is anyone's children on Singulair (for asthma/allergies)? Keegan's been on it since he was 4 and I've seen a couple of news segments in the last 2 days about it causing depression and suicidal thoughts in some kids. He's always done fine with it, but it really makes me question if we shouldn't have him switch medication.

We are taking Brennan to Philadelphia tomorrow to see the Star Wars exhibit at the Franklin Institute and spending the night. It's so weird to just have him for the weekend. Keegan's never been away from us longer than a night except for one solo vacation Derek and I took.

Ian is on both Singulair and Zyrtec along with getting allergy shots. We have never had any issues at all.

I'm glad to hear other kids take Singulair without problems too. My DH really wants us to get him off of it, but he's done so well on it and really needs something for his allergies/asthma. I guess we'll see what his doctor says next week when he gets his blood work. It seems like any medication these days has been found to cause a certain amount of kids to get suicidal and the news media seems to go crazy reporting it.

Ian will be starting the under the tongue drops once they are approved here. His Dr is from the UK and is so excited that they will finally be available here. Hopefully then he will just have that and none of the other stuff.

Kerry said she's been chatting to Nicole this afternoon

Yes it's 90 days out if you're a returning Cruiser, or 105 days (I think) for Cat. 3 and above

Lucky Keegan having temps in the 80's, I hope he has a great time

Have fun at the Star Wards exhibit, I'm sure it'll be fun

What are the tongue drops? Sounds intriguing.

I'm watching MSNBC and they are now doing another report on Singulair

Is anyone doing any Fish Extender shopping this weekend ?

I must get back on track and get some more shopping done :thumbsup2
