Wow, great picture!!!! Your going to hear me giggling like a school girl in July when I go and see my fav Sting with The Police . We have 6th row seats!!!! We were supposed to see them in November but Sting had the flu and they had to reschedule The new date is July 30!!!! I can't wait Debi

Just stopping by to say hi. So many posts and so little time. I have to go to Vancouver for work until Sunday then I'll catch up with all the posts. (by then I'm sure will be another 20 pages)

She's doing Ok...just has this cough at night/nap and a runny nose. I think it is just a cold that won't go away (although she will probably have allergies like her mommy and brother).

I had my concert tonight. My kids kicked serious butt and I was so proud of them. I am totally pooped out and wicked thirsty. I get really dehydrated after a concert. I had to direct my kids 2 songs and then 2 out of the 3 songs performed by all of the groups (grades 4 - 10). We got a standing O so I guess it went over well!

I'm so pleased that the concert went well Jen. I'm not surprised that you're 'pooped' (that is such a funny word )

WTG w/the waterbottle.... WOO HOO!!! We went to the outback again - and I have to admit - I ATE the cheesefries.. DELICIOUS!! I NEED to get back on track.............. UGHHHHHHHHHH

The cheese fries were great - and NOT fat free!! A little splurge there.. Now, I'll 'pay' for it!

Lots of running for me today! Errands to do on my day off!! Hopefully I'll settle in this afternoon and just relax - I figure if I do everything in the morning, I can have lunch and sit and watch TV till I have to pick Anthony up from his club at 3:30! Dominic takes the bus and has a key to let himself in, so, he won't 'disturb' my rest!! Back to work tomorrow though!! UGH!

Good Morning! We have a Snow Day!!!


Actually and ice day... It is really nasty here! The phone rang this morning at 5:05 am and My husbands school was closed... We closed shortly after... YAY! I need this today! DH's new laptop came so Sarah can play webkinz on 1 computer, DH can use his lap top and I can use mine and there will be no negotiating for computer time!

They are forcasting the "BIG DADDY" of a winter storm Friday into Saturday.. Check this out...

I really hope not but then again we usually get a foot of snow in April.. I very proudly announced to DH last night the cruise countdown and he just laughed! At least he is getting in the spirit! Do you do Amtrak or Metro North to the city? I saw yesterday was a disaster since they had to suspend service on the Metro north line due to a building collapse in Harlem... We have done both Amtrak and Metro north, but now that my brother lives in Wappingers we mainly use Metro.

Congrats on the snow day!!! I know you can really use a day of rest. I still can't believe all the bad weather you've been having. This winter we have not had any snow days. In fact I just booked a trip to Foxwoods on one of the days off this month we have built in the schedule in case we have none. (We take the kids to go in the pool and take turns gambling)

Wow u guys were chatting last night. I go to bed early once and i have 3 pages to read..lol..well i am going to be like suzanne and apoligize for not responding to everyones posts. I will start fresh today.

It is pouring buckets here and very windy. What happened to thet beautiful day yesturday we had?

Nicole's birthday is tuesday and this is the car she wants for her sweet sixteen...lol i don't think so.

Overall Keegan's visit at Hopkins went well and he wasn't admitted thankfully. His lab numbers are still moving in the right direction. His doctor extended him 4 days longer on the medication until next Tuesday when he gets his CT scan. He said the surgeons looked at his CT yesterday and said that the mass was basically a petri dish that would just continue to grow bacteria unless it's taken out. They are still hopeful it will shrink from the medication but said that after speaking with the surgeons/infections disease doctors, IV antibiotics wouldn't do any better. So, if it's still there on Tuesday, he's going to see the pediatric surgeons and have surgery scheduled. The oncologist said he's never seen a case like this. Lucky us!
I just can't wait until next Tuesday and get the surgery over with if he needs it. This whole experience is really starting to take a toll on Keegan and us. I know there are kids in far worse condtion so I try to look at the positives. I just get completely sick to my stomach when I think about how seriously ill he really is right now. I feel like there's a massive black cloud over us. First my SIL flips her car 4 times, her step dad dies 4 days later, we're dealing with everything with Keegan, one of Derek's partners at work breaks his leg last Friday while tackling a suspect at a search warrant, my brother has an emergency appendectomy Sunday and Monday one of our good friends who is a Maryland State trooper was seriously injured in an accident. We could really use a good vacation now! Thank goodness we have the cruises to look forward to. I am still hoping to be able to go to WDW in April for the 4 day weekend we currently have booked.

The sun is finally peeking out. We had so much rain last night the yards are all a soaked mess and mulch is everywhere. I'm just glad it wasn't snow!


I better get going and get some work done. I've fallen behind quite a bit lately but my boss has been really good about letting me have down time to be with Keegan.

I'm so glad your trip to Hopkins went well. I know how hard it is for you. Sometimes it is a good thing if you can put one foot in front of the other... Sometimes you just have to wonder WHY you seem to be having the most rotten luck in the world. It just stinks! I'm thinking about you!
