Well at least i'm not alone lol Thank you and i plan on enjoying it...I can't believe that it snuck up on me and its only 3 days away now

We had a good flight down and were checked into Animal Kingdom by 1:30. Our room wasn't ready, so we had lunch at the Mara (food court) and went to Animal Kingdom. We saw the afternoon parade and rode the Safari. We lucked out with getting extra fast passes and a VIP safari ride. Brennan had on his safari hat and the CM at the safari told Brennan since he had on the safari hat, he would get the VIP treatment. The boys also got a magical memories certificate for answering an animal quiz in line. We went back to Boma for dinner and had a relatively early night in bed. While leaving AK, the skies opened up and we looked like we'd all come straight out of the shower.

Today we woke up for rope drop at MK. It poured, drizzled and poured some more all morning. We had wind breakers and ponchos on and did our usual itinerary. We actually got more rides done in Fantasyland and Toontown by 10:30 today than it usually takes us. Brennan was able to pull out the sword from the stone and got a certificate and sticker for being an honorary prince. I think we saw blue skies in one area for all of 5 minutes. The rain didn't seem to deter the crowds. We missed the dream squad twice. Once they were giving out hats in another room in the toontown tent characer line and another time they were giving out lanyards in Adventureland. We had dinner at Chef Mickeys and came back to our room at AKL. Mandy, I looked for you guys at Chef Mickey's but didn't see you anywhere.

We have a savannah view room at AKL and the animals were all out around 6:30PM. They were feeding them and there were a couple of ostriches actually chasing the pick up truck that drops off the food. We saw a giraffe totally take off and hide under a tree when the skies opened. When it saw the feed truck, it stood in front of it to stop it. They are definitely trained to eat on cue!

We are going to do DHS for EMH in the morning and then hop to Epcot in the afternoon, with dinner at the Garden Grill. With all the rain and changing into dry clothes, we've gone through quite a few outfits so we decided to do some laundry tonight and not leave sopping wet clothes for a week in a dirty laundry bag. We also decided to condense some of our luggage for the cruise since we had 8 bags to start and really only need about 4 on the cruise.

We're really having a great time. It's the wettest of any of our WDW vacations over the years, but it's fun just the same.

Hello All! Rain Rain go away........ Well we made it to MK on Wed and left around 3 we just couldn't take the rain any more. Yesterday we had dinner at Bubba Gump's and saw the Blue Man Group. The Blue Men were great, lots of fun! Today we went shopping at Downtown Disney. We leave for Port Canaveral in the morning so I am going to start packing us up now. I hope everyone is having fun and staying dry Happy travels to those of you leaving soon. Can't wait to meet you all!

HI All!

WE finally made it to FL!! We were scheduled to go to Cocoa Beach but with the crappy weather we diverted today and we are in Kissimmee!! The others are on the train and will be at OKW tomorrow night, they don't know we are here. Not sure if we will do a park or just kind of hang out.

Travel safely all of you coming in tomorrow!! The drive was nasty from Savannah to Orlando.

Well just for a change, it rained again today

It sounds like everyone is having fun despite the weather

We decided to have a shopping morning to escape the rain. We went to the Mall at Millenia, Festival Bay, Target and DownTown Disney.

We had a lovely meal at Chef Mickey's tonight and I saw you there Danielle, we were seated in your far right corner. You were having photos taken with Chef Mickey and Minnie, so I went to get some food, and 2 minutes later, you were gone, I couldn't believe it. After dinner, we hopped on the monorail over to the Polynesian Resort where I had my first Lapu Lapu - wow !! it was delish

Tomorrow we've doing EMH's at DHS too, so maybe I will see some of you there, and then we 've got an 11 am ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickey's, followed by washing and packing and getting ready for our Cruise

I hope it dries up for us all tomorrow, have a great day and I'll see you very soon

Hope everyone arrives safely today!

My twin is here and wet!

I know Jen landed last night - I got her text when I turned my phone on at 5am! I didn't sleep too well last night! And I KNOW I won't sleep too well tonight either!

So - the meet is at 230 at the goofy pool, right? Where was our alternate location?

Sorry to hear everyone is wet in the parks - could be worse! You could be wet at the beach! We did have some sun yesterday, so that was good. We only went to the pool though - most of the beach was washed away! Ughhhhh!

Anyway - we are off to the hotel near port this afternoon - I can't believe we sail tomorrow! I am so excited! After the crap week I had I need a GOOD vacation! Although we have had some fun it would've been MUCH better if the sun was out!

Anyway - I guess I'll lay down and watch peter pan - again!

Sounds like everyone's having a great time so far!

We went to DHS for EMH this morning and in the stampede to Toy Story Mania, I got to meet Mandy and family!! We came back to AKL to rest a couple of hours and it was a good move since it stormed most of the time. We are getting ready to head out to Epcot for our Garden Grill dinner ressies.

Mandy, sorry we missed you at CM last night. We had been finished with our dinner for a good while and were just sitting, waiting on Mickey so we scattered as soon as he came by for a picture. I looked all over the waiting area, but you obviously had been seated by then.

Sandy, we must have missed you by minutes in MK. Congrats on the dream ears!

Laurie, I hope you got some good time in at the beach today.

Veronica/Melissa, I hope you both had good flights down today.

Hi Diane and Debi, glad to hear you are all here and having fun.

Hey Mandy- how was your day of laundry?

The girls are at Epcot tonight, they won some sort of after party tickets. Of course I was busy washing their dirty clothes so now I'm stuck in the room by myself....... Can we all tell I'm having a bit of a pity party for myself?
