Mandy- hope you get to fit in a nap today and that Kerry has a great time on her trip. Your envelope came yesterday and the boys acted like it was Christmas. Thank you so much. Right now Ian has Daleks set up all over the livingroom with the stickers laid out in a big circle around them. Who knows what he's thinking.

Michele- what are you up to today? Tori's bf made it to the test an hour late and they did let him take it. She said they will let you in late but they won't let you leave early.

Laurie- cleaning at that hour I was still snoozing away. I hope you get some time to yourself today

Jen- enjoy the last few days of school. Ian is finished today.


Well, today Tori begins the big job hunt. She has three places she would like to try first and then maybe we will go to lunch and try to think of some others. Hope she has some luck. Ian has a half day today (his last day) and then he's off to a friend's house for the afternoon. I'll check in later.......

When I was at the dentist I got a text from Kerry to say that they had landed in Cyprus. It was 90F and sunny (I am so jealous). The flight took about 4 hours and she's 2 hours ahead of me, so that's 7 hours ahead of you

I'm sitting here with a frozen mouth as I'm back from the dentist. I had to laugh, the dentist froze my gum, then started to make a mould of my mouth. The tooth was so loose that it came out on the mould Oh well at least I can't eat anything this afternoon, as I can't move it properly I feel like I've had botox

Morning everyone!

2 half days and an hour and a half to go!

My good friend at school introduced me to her chiropractor yesterday because I walked into her room and said, I have a pain in my butt (didn't use the word butt but these are family boards) She promptly got on the phone and made appointments... I have knots in my shoulder back and neck and have to go back Friday... I felt so good afterward!

Sorry I haven't been chatting.. I have been hitting the hay by 8.. I am really "knockered" these days! In just a few you will all be saying.. "i wish Jen would go back to school"

Big HI to everyone! I'll try to catch up later! It is fun day at school and I am in charge of jump ropes....

Yup - it's the voice - why else would we be going?? LOL

And yes - I am cleaning - I HATE it - so, I had the urge - might as well do it when I feel like it otherwise FORGET it!! I actually started out all gung-ho - but, that has fizzled out and I have two projects started and I am running out of steam! LOL

WOO HOO on the chiropractor -I've never gone, but anyone that I know that does go, they always feel such relief afterwards.. it is actually a great remedy for other things too, not just back pain!

Glad to hear school is almost over - it's hard to believe that my kids have been out for a week already! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Mandy- I think he is 46 - not that he is THAT old - but, an older fella - not like Mick Jagger or anything! LOL

I must say - what I've done so far I am quite proud of! I put up the new shower curtain and the new window curtain - the shower is all clean (obviously), the toilet is clean (and sparkly I might add), the floor is almost done, and I have to to the vanity and sink. I've already stripped my bed, washed and dried the sheets, comforter is in the dryer, bathroom rug is in the washer. As soon as I finish the bathroom, I am going to start my room! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Calgon take me away! LOL

Glad to hear Kerry made it to Cyprus w/great weather!!

Wow Sandy your school district is much nicer than ours ...you are late you don't get in but you can leave early after 2 hours if u r done. Good luck to tori with her job hunting

Alana (11) is swimmin her heart out with swim team. I can't keep up with her anymore. I'm hoping to be able to by the end of the summer tho.. if I don't eat too much on the cruise.

She's also entering that much discussed and dreaded pre adolescent stage. YIKES.. she argues with me all the time now and says stuff just to annoy me! What IS that?? I'm petrified I'll get too mad at her, lose it and emotionally scar her for life.

SHARK DIVE!! I was so excited to go on one ... but they go deeper than 40 feet which is Alana's max. We're bummed, but now we have something to look forward to in the future. We can't go with Disney cuz they don't allow under 12 on their scuba excursions... sheesh. That's dumb. IF they're able to get certified at 11, then.. why not?

Also, Disney won't allow kids in the spa at all? I wanted to get pedicures for Alana and I together, but noooooooooooo. That's dumb too.. and now I can't get one. I'll really need one after 3 days in the parks. oh well... another activity to look forward to.. later.

I always enjoy catching up with board. You guys are fun!

Luckily tomorrow is Bryan's last day of school so hopefully things will calm down. I have lots of pages to catch up on but that will be my homework tomorrow

Good Morning Bahama Mama's (and our MIA Bahama Papa )

It was quiet on here last night - what were you up to ?

I spoke to Kerry last night and she is having a great time and she had been in the villa's pool - lucky thing

Today is my usual Thursday, taking my mum to town to have her hair cut (boring). It's 7.15am here, and I've already stripped our bed and the bedding is in the washing machine, and I'll get the girls bedding in the wash before I go out

Ok.. fine, but there are still things that have to get done... Baths, dinner.... etc... I may as well be a single parent...

Oh yeah.. I forgot to get teacher presents so I need to sort that out after school....
