2007 packages out but what to do???

Ok so we can change our room only ressies to a basic package now. How does one know if they want any of the packages that will be offered? Will the packages involve dining? We have a room only ressies but we're not sure if we'll do a package or book things separately. Is the dining plan a good deal for a family of five? How does one know to keep room only or switch to a package before the costs/information come out?

Don't get me wrong - I'm excited about 2007 packages being out . I guess I'm nervous now because its the weekend and I can't do anything until tomorrow.

You can make a ressie with WDW on the weekend, I think they're open until 9, but I could be wrong on that one.

I plan on booking our package now the way I can, and then add whatever options later on when they're available. We're a family of 4 and we like the dining plan. It will depend on the cost for 2007, I've looked over where we want to eat and I will need about $150 a day; as long as the dining plan is less than that, I'll get it. If not, we'll just pay oop for meals.

We are in the same boat here. Finally decided dates, where to stay (a story in itself) and what we'll do re dining plan but....I hate that I cant get a firm rate yet. My mom always says Im not the most patient.

I checked the website the morning and could not get package pricing for 2007. What am I missing?

Ditto, I got all excited when I read the packages were out. My deposit money is burning a hole throug my pocket! I went to the site and it said the stanard "bookings past 2006....".

You have to call them to make ressies for anything past Dec.31, 2006!!!

The only package available to book right now is the Basic Package, which is just a room, and either admission to WWS or mini-golf. You can book this, and when the "real" packages come out for 2007 you can just call and modify your package components.

I have tried two times on different days and keep getting told the packages are not out yet. We have a room only already and they keep saying that is the basic package. So its frustrating but I'll try again tomorrow.

I called sunday July 2 cause I was told they were bringing them out july 1st. They informed me that the only thing they had was basic room only package, and now the full packages will not be out till August sometime. Only thing I can book at the end of july will be Dining ressies which like others I hate booking those without my package details, but I am at least getting a list gathered of where I want to go so I can be full on ready to do it all at once. The wait is frustrating. Does anyone know if booking air is $$$ saving more to book through WDTC with my package than it would be if I went and booked air on my own now I rather have that money saved to spend in wdw? Rates arent dropping online, or from some travel agents I called around to about what air is looking like for start of next year. It's fair priced as of now online fair at least to my standards at least not 1000 per person and I would rather grab the rates they are at now if wdtc is not all that different. We are coming for our honeymoon this is our first tme ever going to WDW. I would like to have a magical experience. Also does anyone know if Disney does anything special for Honeymooners? Any input is greatly appriciated.
