2007 Online Reservations

We are less than five months away from 07. I was wondering if anyone knew when online for 2007 would be available?? I am trying to check everyday for room availability and hate to go through the phone system

I have been told by cast members at Disney Travel that it could be end of aug- mid-end of september before 2007 Packages come out. Your best bet is to call Disney Travel and book the basic package which is room only, then add the dining plan and tickets once they release the packages. From what Disney Travel has said and also disboard members things are booking up FAST for 07.

I used the contact us link from disneyworld.com to ask why 2007 rates were not loaded yet, specifically room only rates, and after being persistant and 4-5 emails, I was told they basically have no idea - or for some reason refuse to say.

Here's what I got:

"What you are experiencing is not a glitch. 2007 pricing and availability has not yet been programmed onto our website. A release date has not yet been announced."

Pretty late for a big travel company.

As much as it is a pain to go through the voice mail and answering 10,000 questions before they will look up a room for you, if you are planning a 2007 trip during a busy time, you might want to call. I did that for our upcoming March trip, and while most of what I asked about was available, not every room category was. By Sept/Oct that could change to many room types not available. I find it very inconvenient as well, since I want to look up lots of different options and dont want to answer lots of questions, but you might want to consider calling anyway. All the room-only rates, etc. are out already by phone.

Do you think that they will have the packages and what is included in them on the website before Sunday so we can take a look at them??/ I would like to see them before I call so I have the details!
