2007 Member Cruise

Not sure if I should post this question here or on the general cruise board...

What time of year is information about the member cruise announced? I am thinking about doing the member cruise in 2007 and I was wondering when the details will be announced. I've always wanted to do a Disney cruise (never been on any kind of cruise before) and I've read nothing but good things about the member cruise. Since I'm probably not going to use points towards the cruise, I would like to get some kind of idea of the price range so that I can start to save up.

There is a rumor over on the cruise board that the next Member Cruise will be October 21, 2007. If this is the case it will most likely be announced on this years Member Cruise which sails on Sunday. This years cruise was announced by Jim Lewis on last years cruise. For a look at the points for this year check out the DVC Member site . Since it is the same time of year the points cash would most likely be around the same range.

Yes both points and cash are per person. Remember that when you are booking a cruise you are paying for more than just your room. You are also paying for all your food (except for Palo which has a surcharge) and your entertainment. In addition on both the last Member Cruise and this upcoming one tips are included in the price which normally doesn't happen when booking a cruise with points.
