:scared1: Yikes - after being on hold for 20 minutes, my dining person has no clue and is saying she can't book these events - she has been trying for 5 minutes now and is saying she must tranfer me over to the 'right' #!!!:mad: Looks like I need pixie dust!:wizard:

Much faster than last year when I was on hold for 45 minutes and events were sold out...

I booked two food and wine pairings and 2 PFTS...and there were 322 ressumbers betwen the first and last and we went ---- fast fast, no speells between the ressies.....

I am interested in the "cancellation policy" as well. There are apparently 5 "good reasons" to cancel, and hurricanes is one of them. Being in South Florida, we have been under warnings when Orlando was open....we will see.

I think WDW got tired of folks booking 5 events and then cancelling after they went once....

Any other news on this front.

BTW - we were away for the weekend and arrived home to see the F&W flyer....nicely done, but wish I had had it one month ago....

Got through right at 7am and got what I wanted. :banana: I was going to wait a bit on our PFTS (11.3) but I may call later on today.
 
:scared1: oh no! she disconnected me and I'm now getting the "all circuits are busy" message !!
 

They only asked for my name, not the rest of my party so how would they know if it's not transfered?

I know...same here, kinda stupid if you ask me. How can they even try to enforce it...as long as the person who bought the tickets shows, you could totally change up the rest of your party (at least for PFTS).

Now with EE, they did ask for all the names of everyone attending.

No matter...unless there is like a serious illness or death in the family, we will be going! :woohoo:

What is hilarious is that DH made me call him at work to let him know if we got our tix. And my two teenagers were doing the happy dance in the kitchen after I gave them the thumbs up! :rotfl:

Oh, for the other folks that said they got transferred to dining-I dialed in at 6:59 and I got transferred to dining immediately too. I figured they must be doing this because of the heavy call volume, so maybe overflow is going to regular dining or they are all just taking the ressies this morning.
 
26 minutes from start to finish. I got everything I wanted: Sweet Sunday, Twinings Tea, & Party for the Senses. The cast member was very clear about the Non-refundable policy each time I booked something. I decided I'll call back later today to cancel my conflicting ADRs.

I finished all my reservations.:woohoo: I did get the last seat of f&w pairing le cellier9/28. My cm was a little slow for the first reservation then he really picked up the speed. I am glad they dropped the five minute speech for each event. I hope everyone has good luck also.

My cast member did not even give me the info on the cancellation policy - I had to ask and then she did not know and had to go find out...??????
 
Just got off the phone about 10 min ago and we got all the things we wanted for our party of 4.

PFTS 11/3
Le Cellier 11/9
Coral Reef 11/7
Marrakesh 11/6

DW and I had 4 cell phones working (two ears each). One got through right away and we were able to make all the reservations on that one call. NO MENTION of the no cancel/change/transfer policy. We are staying at FW Campgrounds. See you there.

I got through right at 6AM - by the time I tried to book my third F&W pairing it was already sold out. The 10/15 Sushi Sake pairing was gone by 6:10 AM this morning... can you believe that?

I was on the phone calling at 6:59 got right through and booked PFTS and Sweet Sundays...when he tried to book Food and Wine Pairing for Sake, Sushi and Sashimi he told me that there was a problem with the computer for that Event. He asked me if I could call back later. :confused3

It wasn't Sold Out he just couldn't book it. This was at 7:05am.
 
I got through right at 6am CST, but was on hold for about 30 minutes. I did get the Food and Wine Pairing I wanted in Italy on 9/30. She did say that all reservations this year are non-refundable and charged immediately. She didn't ask for any ID though.
 
Just got off the phone too. Made ressie's for South African Wine walk-a-bout and the Vertical tasting at Cali Grill for Oct 13th. Was on hold for about 25 min. Good luck everyone!

If they're going to ask for ID they will do it when you get there.

I was on hold 16 minutes. I checked two Le Cellier pairings, both were sold out. Was able to substitute a Salon Seas for one and decided to forego the pairing for the second day.
