Woo - Hoo !!! I just rec'd an email with my FIRST PIN CODE EVER !!!
The deal is for dates in fall of 2007 (up to 12/23/07) and its 5 nights, 6days in a Value Resort + park passes for $362.00 pp (based on dbl occupancy) !!
Do you think this is a better deal than the 'Free Dining' Offer? I am booked for Sept free dining, but am thinking about maybe switching !

It depends on how many people you have booked for free dining vs your pin code. Dining plan is $39pp. If you have 4 people paying the adult price that is $160 per day savings. What resort are you staying in? The discount on the pin is based on what type of resort. If you are staying in a value resort the room discount amount on the pin code would be less savings than free dining.

As of now I am booked at the ASMusic - and there would only be 3 of us Big Kids going ... you may be right, Free Dining is hard to pass up... especially when we are booked at LeCelier, Cap n Jacks, and Coral Reef !! Thanks for the info, though...sometimes I jump into something without thinking because I get soooo excited ! (Maybe I will have to go twice this fall... Darn !)

when I called to see what the code was the operator would not tell me exactly what the code was for. what is the problem?

Kimberly

If it includes Deluxe resorts, I would love you forever if someone would pm it to me. Seriously!

It is a pin, not a code, therefore it can only be used by the individual that WDW directly sent the offer to.

I got it too!! I forwarded it to my TA to have her see if it would save us anything.

Our dates overlap the dates in the deal though, so we'll have to see what happens.

How do you get a pin code? We've never gotten anything in the mail from Disney!

I think it's worth it if you don't think you'll eat all the food!

I got it as well, and I'd prefer this over free dining just because we prefer not to eat those huge amounts of food.

I got the email, but the Grand Floridian isn't available for our dates. I was quoted a price for 10 nights at the Yacht Club, water view, with 8 day hoppers for 2 adults for $4,326.00, arriving on 10/26. I have no idea how much of a savings that is. I haven't tried to figure it out yet. I don't think I'll be switching. We're really looking forward to going back to the GF this year.

Woohoo!!!

I love my AAA TA! I forwarded the email to her right after I got it and asked if she could do anything. Less than 15 minutes later, she emails me back with the new total. Saved us over $100 - which is great since I think we'll need that for our airfare now since I underbudgeted that after not thinking through that we would be flying Thanksgiving weekend.

nice, mom! great little dancing 'elvis' smiley!!! (is it supposed to be Elvis?)

I received a pin today, and saved $61.30 off of 5 nights at POR. That is on top of my AAA discounted rate.

I was kind of shocked that they sent me a pin, as I already had a ressie, and have gone each year for the last 3 years. But who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? :cheer2:

My TA just applied our pin to our room only ressie for 7 nights at POR. We saved $88 over the AAA discount. I love it because, since we hadn't even bought the AAA member ship yet, we actually saved $140!! YAY!!

I'm pretty sure you can only do one or the other on the discounts. AAA or the PIN. Doesn't seem like a whole lot of savings to me unless you figure the PIN code is better than the AAA savings. SO the PIN code is probably a better savings for someone who does not have a AAA rate. I think they just are stating what they saved from their AAA packages. I would be VERY surprised if the AAA rate stood and they applied a code over that. That would be a new change, ONE that would be welcome of course since I am a AAA member!
