2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Like Mary said - they will definitely replace the mug for you. I know which one you mean, I have several of them also.

My niece had one that was a small crack inside and they actually gave her two of them to replace the first one. They give them out for prizes for coming in 1st or 2nd and things like that.

I posted this on the main cruise thread but I thought I would ask you all as well. I just remember to ask this question even though it's been months since I discovered the crack.

On our last Disney Cruise 5/27/06 Double Dip my DD won a stainless steel coffee mug with the DCL logo embossed on it from playing bingo but since we really don't drink much coffee it sat in our cabinet for a long time. Well she wanted some hot chocolate this past winter and I decided to let her use her mug and I pull it out of the cabinet to find a big crack inside the mug. Could I call DCL and see if they will send me a new one or should I wait till we cruise in October and bring it with us to get a replacement? Any idea's? thanks.

good morning back at 'ya, my friend

Send some of that rain down here. I wouldn't mind at all. It keeps me home and I get to read my books.

Good morning all,

Hope every one has a great Monday. We are supposed to have a rainy day.

Good Morning everyone. Finally my day off :) Time to do all the things that I can't get done when I'm working, like the laundry
:laundy: :laundy:

I am so excited that I lost 16 pounds. I would like to have 40-50 off by the cruise.

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm hoping to lose 10-15 by cruise time but not having much luck.

I just signed up with DVC to go preview their new store in Woodfield Mall called Doorway to Dreams. They have full size models of AKV there. Looking forward to August 1st when the preview is.

Amanda & I would love to drive down to see it, but because my days off are usuallly Mon & Tue that doesn't work. please post info after the tour.

You can have the rain, we need it too so I shouldn't complain.

Congats on the weight loss. It's a battle. I am down 50 from a year ago. I was down 60 but it's hard to keep off. I want to get 20 more off but the will power seems to be gone. Now I need some magic nip & tuck, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Enjoy your Mondays!!!!

Hi All, thanks for all the info. I am soo excited to be cruising soon.

Congrats on the weight losses and keep at it. I have about 5 more pounds to lose, then work on tightening up all those loose musles.

Gotta take the truck in for an oil change before we head off to the beach.

Hi Everyone,

DH and I are taking our second Members cruise this year. I am wondering if anyone has done the Castaway Cay Island cruise on the power catamaran.

It sounds interesting. Any opinions please!!!!

Also, from past experience, as CC members what are our chances of being able to book this Monday Palo Brunch for 4 on our day at sea? Also, I am assuming that Brunch is only offered on the at-sea day. Is that correct?

Thank you for your able assistance on this!

Welcome aboard northerngirl.

I've never taken the cruise but we did the Seahorse Snorkel on the catamaran and it was very nice.

As for brunch - yes it is only offered on the sea day. I would think your chances would be pretty good if you got up early to book it. I think pretty much everyone who wanted it last year got it.

One word of warning from last year that hopefully is fixed this year. They had brunch set on what is our 2nd CC day because that is when the normal 4 day cruises have their sea days. So if you booked brunch it wouldn't let you book an excursion on CC on the same day. They got it all straightened out but it was confusing at 2 am. Like I said hopefully DCL and DVC have communicated better this year!

This is very helpful information. I do plan on getting up REALLY early on booking day. I have to log on at 1am my time! Yikes!!!! Oh well, at least the boss will be away & I can have a nice quiet day & dream of CC!!:thumbsup2

Welcome aboard northern girl.

I too plan on being up at 2am my time. Last year we had quite a few posts going on inthe middle of the night. I had a real hard time getting the website to work. I idid get what I wanted though. But we went in Sept and the ship was not full. This might be a different story with a full ship and lots of repeaters.

have a great day.

Can anyone tell me if the nursery will be open on any of the days that we are at CC? My DH and I would like to go snorkeling one day. Also, can anyone reccommend any excersion that myself, DH, and 2yr old DTD can do? We are open to all and any suggestions.:)

Sorry - just looked at the navigators from last years cruise and couldn't find any hours listed for Flounders on them. We don't have children so it wasn't something we paid attention to.

Also I don't think any of the DCL offered excursions allow for under 5. I do know that some of the bikes have a child's seat on the back so you could do bike riding as a family. Most just like relaxing and playing at the water's edge.

Geez, I just thought of something.

When I was onboard in May, I went to Flounders and got their schedule.

All I have to do now is find it. My DD wanted it for our cruise in December with the new g/baby.

I'll post their hours when I can find where it is. DD might have it, tho - so I'll have to wait until she gets off work tonight.

Good morning all,

I have a non disney question. Does any one know if Princess has a board like this? I found cruise critic, but not as informative as these disboards are.

Thanks and have a great day!!!!

I think I have every one talked into the MGM walk. Should be fun. I hope it's not too crowded. I love the Rockin Roller coaster!!!!!!!

Well I am on my way to week 16 for passports.

I know it is getting close to excursion bookings, (although I admist I really don't know when mine is :guilty: )

I know I will have to book the stingray one, but what about the bike rental/float/snorkel 3in1 package? Do we have to request in advance or just show up at the place and do it then?

And what time to bookings open again?

I believe for CC club members it is the Monday at 3am eastern.

I have always booked the floats on line, it's just easier to have the coupons and not have to worry about charging them on the island.
