2007 DL Half Marathon ASIphotos pics are UP!

I didn't realize they were up! I'm a little bummed they don;t have a castle shot for me -- I'll have to do a search later when I have a chance. But, fwiw, my glaringly bright shirt was caught a few times (never looking nearly as good as Matt!) -- bib # 9822.

Nice job, Matt -- you actually look happy in your pix.

Great photos gang!!!!

Matt those photos of you with the foil cap makes you look like a 1/2 Marathon Finish SUPERHERO!!! LOL LOVE it!

Erica that photo of you in the stadium with you smiling makes you look elated and still ready to go. If I didn't know where that photo is taken in regards to the course I'd have said it was either at the begininng when people are fresh or at the end when they are thrilled to be done. That's an amazing photo to be looking soooo happy and like your just having a blast. Frame it!

Paul if you end up reading this I did some hunting and located YOUR 1/2 marathon photos and I LOVE the one of you waving. Love you finish line photos too. He had his daughter with him. Too sweet!

The photos I've seen so far are unbelieveable knowing the heat/humidity you all dealt with and yet you all look really really good! Happy faces all around. You all make us very very proud :grouphug:

Keep those bib #'s coming and Erica do look thru the lost & found section you might find some finish line photos in there or Castle photos where they just didn't have a good view of the bib. good luck hunting for them :)

Hi guys, i love your pics, my bib wsa 3192. one of my pics looks like i was about to die :) i was hurtin between having foot surgery(a bone removed) 3 weeks ago and the heat. i hate heat. :) im glad everyone looked like they had an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! next time ill be in lime green :)

Hint on the castle shots: Helps if you are on the outer edges of the pathway coming out of the castle. For instance, if the crowd is 4 across, and the photographers are to the side, you need to be on the side of the path by the photographer. The number of people and thickness of the crowd makes it difficult to catch the people more in the middle. (does that make sense?)

anyway, I know this because I've missed castle shots at DL and WDW before. This year I knew better! :goodvibes

Great pics, Matt and Erica!

Thanks for the tip...I went through the Lost and Found (which didn't take me very long because I figured that glowing green shirt would stand out if it was in any pics), but no castle shot. :sad2: I'm bummed because I have a castle shot from every other disney race I've done and I actually slowed down through Fantasyland to get away from a huge clot of people but then I guess I picked it up a little going through the castle itself (who doesn't?) and caught right up to them again, so i had a bad feeling the photographer didn't get me, even though I tried to be on the side nearest him. Just too many people in a steady stream.

Oh, well....guess this just means I'll have to go do it again next year, huh? My kids are ready to stage an intervention.:rotfl2:
