2007 Disney World Half Marathon Pictures

Hi all,

I just posted a whole bunch(171 pictures!) I took at the race today on my website http://www.DisneyRunning.com.

They give you a little feel of the race. 1 down and 1 to go. Ready to get some sleep so I can finish the Full and get my second Goofy

Great pictures. Looks like you had a great time. WOW, I can't imagine running in those crowds. How do you not step on other people? Is it really as crowded as it looked?

It is MORE crowded than it looks!!! Especially at the beginning it is VERY tight! No one actually ran into me and I did not run into anyone else, but I was always on the lookout for others!

I just have to reply to this one cause I thought the same thing when I saw the pics from last year. It was not as bad as it looks, of course DH was ready to kill me cause we did a lot of running in grass in the first 3 miles to get around crowds and try to set our normal running pace.

The entire race probably one person ran into me and that was probably my fault cause I was all over the place trying to stay with DH.



Robert - thank you soooo much for the pics I was able to show my 10 yr old some of what we saw. I agonized over wether to carry a camer and did not, so I appreciate your pics. !!!!!

I also have to say I am in awe of how you could do both!!!!
After the half on Saturday I limped around MK on Sat and AK on Sun wondering how people do both. (I have been informed by my DH that we are doing the full next year ) The only motivation to me at this point is I am a Disney freak ( we go all the time with Florida Resident passes) and we get to run through all parks!!!

Again KUDOS to all who did either this weekend.
It was literally a magical experience.

You got the back of my sister on page 6 picture 16 (if I counted correctly).

She is the african-american with the white shirt, grey pants, fanny pack facing the back, with her hands on her neck.

I just called and let her know that she made it on a website.

The person whose back you see in most of the photos is Jen117. On page 7, cheering for the half is Scott (wtpclc's DH), Cam, Carrie (wtpclc), and Pat (WDWFAN9).

You can see my DH off to the right side in one of the EPCOT shots with the white Xmas decorations on page 7.

You have done such a great job with the pictures!! I never would have believed that there were so many characters on the route!! They were all gone by the time I went through! The heat must have gotten to them, too!!

HOLEY BUCKETS!!! I am in lots of those pics and my most unflattering parts!!!! I remember running by them, if only I knew, eh!! I am not in many near the end because I picked up my pace a lot. Now that I saw those pics, I will definately get those 40 pounds off before ya'll see me again!!!!!

The cool thing is since I was running in that group, I get to relive the moments again!! That was the best part!!
