2007 AAA rates for deluxes

Since deluxes vary in price thought it might be nice to have a small list of what room catergory and AAA rate everyone got.

I have Grand Flordian - Lodge Concierge (Sugar Loaf, not the main building) during value season of $416.50 a night. Rack rate was 490 a night.

Savings of $73.50 a night. Total savings for 6 nights = $496.50

Boardwalk Inn - Standard View -- $267.75 (Value Season)

Rack Rate was $315

Savings of $47.25 per night x five nights = $236.25 total savings

It's on a percentage basis---quite easy to compute. The Deluxe AAA discount is 15% during Value season. Nothing during Holiday. 10% all other times.

I think Cobbler was just trying to see the differences and the $$ savings depending on which resort, what room level and which season.

Exactly!!

With values and moderates its easy to do that. (Well it is easy to do that with deluxes as well) but with the different prices for the deluxes, different seasons and differnet catergories it might be nice to just do a quick look and see what is going for what in case someone is interested.

Dolphin - Starwood but in Deluxe category - AAA rate
Week before and after Easter 2007 - 14 wonderful nights
$199 per night or $222.44 with tax per night for a pool/resort view

Oh, those Heavenly beds are waiting for us

PS - we are Starwood members and repeat guests at the Dolphin. I do think we were bumped up a category or two

We are very excited about our first Deluxe hotel stay.

Grand Floridian Sugar Loaf Lodge May (regular season) rack $635.64 including tax.. Booked with discount for $572.06 savings of $63.xx

$601.88 with tax without discount, $511.90 with tax with AAA discount.

Almost $90 per night savings. (Still expensive, but it's our 15th anniversary )
