so is anyone still out there? what's the agenda for tomorrow? We're planning to get to the port by around 10 and are hoping for boarding #2 or 3 :thumbsup2 then we'll eat, hit the mickey pool for a quick dip, and see if there's time to squeeze in a nap before the 2:30 DIS meet. if not, it will have to be betw. the dis meet and the lifeboat drill. i don't really see another open slot of an hour or so before dinner unless we want to skip the show.

we'll see. both my kids were up by 5:30 today, so I wonder if they'll sleep at ALL tonight~
We were going to leave an hour ago, but the traffic is so bad in Cincinnati that we have decide to wait until 6. It is a 14 hour drive...so that should get us there a little early. I also still haven't been to the library yet. I really could just go get something out of box in the garage, but I am too lazy to climb over everything to get to the books.

My realtor called yesterday at 1130 and wanted to show the house at 1230. I told her NO, there was luggage everywhere. She actually got fussing about us going out of town when SHE is trying to sell the house. It has been on the market for five months and NOW she wants to sell it. OH I need an ocean breeze so much right now. Courtney...can we just live your back yard? :rotfl:

Of course we cancelled OKW for tonight and have booked HH for the way home. Stall as long as we can.

Ok that is the longest thing I had to say. Hope this will do it. :cool1:

We've got a car picking us up at 4:15 in the morning. Flight leaves out of Nashville at 7AM, getting us into Orlando at 9:55. I figure we should be at the ship around noonish, and by 12:30 I intend to be sitting by the pool with an umbrella drink in one hand and my pirate's sword in the other.

Arggggggg pirate:

We are actually heading out now. Brian....great pictures.

Be safe everyone!

HEY LOOK WE MADE IT 100 PAGES

Happy Birthday Holly!

We've been down here since Tuesday afternoon -- the weather isn't too bad --- A little rain, but what Florida afternoon would be complete without some sprinkles?

Can't wait to see everybody tomorow.

Ginny

We are at the Radisson at the Port. Got here around 8 pm. Hope everyone that needs to travel tomorrow arrives safely. See you at the DIS meeting tomorrow.

Hope the upgrade ferry smiles on us at the port. She already did at the hotel. We were suposed to have a room, but the hotel upgraded us to a suite when I asked for a room near the pool for the girls.

Also, we are on the 10 am shuttle to the port. Raquel is still hoping to be the first on the ship.

DH and I flew down yesterday...we're staying at Cape Caribe. DH saw the Wonder sail out of port yesterday...unfortunately I was sleeping. And no, he did not get any pictures. He's going to get up early tomorrow morning to see if he can catch the Magic coming into port. Anyone know what time that might be?

See y'all soon! :cool1:

I woke up at 5:55 am when we came in from your cruise - just in time to watch the lights of port canaveral come into view - very depressing - if your cruise is over :rotfl2: My DS and DIL are joining you for their honeymoon - so I am enjoying your excitement tonight - thinking of them - Have a MAGICal cruise!

If anybody's still out there, I'm still here! Looks like Courtney and Robin miss me! Didn't mean to abandon everybody, but I was pretty busy all day at work, then went to the wedding, and didn't get home until close to 10pm. My mom was just getting to my house to spend the night to take us to the airport in the morning, so I was visiting with her while packing. It is now almost 2am and this is my last post. See everybody onboard!

Andy,
Thanks for posting the picture of the Magic!! The view is great from onboard. :teeth:

Ginny

well i'm not sure if anyone will be reading this while they are on the ship, but I hope you all are having a great time, and I can't wait to read all the recaps and see all the photos!!

Have fun,
Mark

well, we're home and the laundry is sorted and started. :sad2:

I'm going to do a trip report and post the link here in case anyone is interested, I'd love to read any one else's.

Sorry we didn't make the meet in Brian's suite- we were napping! Hope everyone had fun and can't wait to hear about your trips. It was fun meeting those of you we saw in person, and hanging out with you before we left!

Back late yesterday afternoon :guilty:

What an awsome Magical week we had, went by way too fast, but it felt like we were gone much longer than a week. :thumbsup2 Can't wait to figure out when we can cruise again, we already miss "our" ship.

Thanks Andy for the cam shots, they'll make nice additions to DW's scrap book.

Saw the shuttle launch from the air port yesterday afternoon, very cool!

Ginny and I saw the Shuttle Launch from Daytona Beach yesterday, very cool. We are planning a 09/08 Western for next year. It was great meeting everyone during our cruise and hope to see you all again very soon!!

Wow! What a MAGICal trip! We are still trying to wind down from the adventure. It was a whirlwind! We had a blast! The kids were split with the Kids club, however, and they didn't want to participate as much as we had hoped. Our DS3 is a loner and had a little trouble going with the group activities :confused3 . This shocked me because he is in daycare and gets along with all the activities there..... :confused3 BUT, he did stay for an hour at a time when we took him there. :cheer2: Our DD7 hated the club at first and I thought - "Oh, no...a week with the 'drama queen' in tow will me torture!!" However, she asked to check the schedule for the next day and did find some things that were of interest and asked to go to those. :cool1: By Wednesday evening, she wanted to stay all night!!! :cheer2: :cool1: I was glad she found her nitch.

Being our first cruise, this was a little overwhelming the first few days. We had been warned not to try to do everything, but we wanted to try A LOT of stuff and I think we got burned out quickly. :Pinkbounc The week went by too quickly.

It was great meeting many of you at the DIS meet. I am sorry I didn't get to meet all of you. I hope everyone had a great time!!!
We are looking into cruising again in the future, but I think we will wait until the kids are a little older. :sunny:

Well I am off to work tomorrow. :sad2: I've done 6 loads of laundry today and have yet to go grocery shopping....

I hope the room attendant visited my bedroom and left chocolates!!! :lmao:

Thanks, a bunch, for all the friendly advice. I was extremely prepared for our first cruise. I would not have been without all of you!

Take care!

Jen

We too enjoyed our trip, and sorry we didn't meet everyone. A special thanks to Brian and his crew for the Roy Suite party. That was fabulous.

And to the others I met and saw the most, Monstro, UGA, Tomspixie, CRainbow, Captain Jack, Tigger (quit stalking me!), and Holly (who I met first at the airport, and saw LAST at the airport), thanks everyone and I hope we meet again.

Saturday afternoon, Dianne and I flew into Lexington, Ky for the UK-Texas State football game. About 5:00, we had a few drops of rain begin to fall. In 30 minutes, it was a FLOOD and we began to see the water rise around our friend's RV. We were parked in a particularly low corner of the parking lot. Within no time, water was about 15 inches deep at the door of the RV, and I was standing on a cooler getting food off the table under the canopy. We eventually pulled forward about 25 feet and got out of the flood zone, but water was within two inches of coming into the door by that time. They had to hold the start of the game about 45 minutes because of lightning!

Odd thing was, within ten minutes of us moving the RV, the rain stopped, and ten minutes later, it had all drained away.

I guess I shouldn't complain about those "afternoon vacation showers" in the future! :sunny:
