2006:where are you going on vacation?

Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic... white sand, hot, clear ocean... no kids!!!!! Just DW and me. BUT... my mind is also on my plan for a 2008 trip to WDW.

I am going solo to LA for a couple of days in April (I'll be 5 miles from DL but I'm NOT going, not without my DW) and then we are going to WDW in October. DW, DS, DMIL and her SIL are going on a cruise while I stay at WDW and golf

-Ohio for a few days to visit my best friend.
-Disneyland in October.
-Denmark for three weeks in August!
-Probably a week long trip through Oregon, Washington, and Northern California to see some summer concerts.

7 night DCL Double Scoop cruise in May followed by a few days at WDW.


Road trip to FL and DVC Member Cruise with a few days before and after at WDW.

We'll also do a few weekend trips up to Milwaukee during the summer for the Nascar races and Irish Fest.

The only trip we have scheduled is our usual July trip to Lake George.
Might go somewhere local for a few days during Feb break.

Right now we don't have a WDW trip planned this year, but that may change.

We are looking at a trip to DC probably when the kids get out of school in June. They have never been there and my Uncle lives in Alexandria so we can stay w/ him. DH wants to take the train up, which would be cool too! (And no driving!!!)

We will probably try to hit Myrtle Beach in late July/early August before school starts back.

I would also like to add a Fall weekend trip to Busch Gardens in Wmsburg.

Hopefully, we will add a couple of camping weekends in there as well.

Oh- I almost forgot, we are going to Jamestown, Wmsburg, and Yorktown w/ DD's class in March!! (Which is costing a small fortune!!)

I know what you mean, momma4u. Can we talk about vacation planning for 2007? I had a WDW vacation in May of 2005 (my first vacation in 3 years), and can't even think about another vacation until some time in '07. That's when my youngest graduates from college and I will FINALLY be free of tuition bills, which have been very hard on this long-time single Mom (I'm not complaining that my sons have gone to college; just the fact that it's SO expensive!). I have promised myself a WDW vacation after his graduation in '07 even if I go by myself. Then look out POR or POFQ, cuz here I come!

1. The usual family trips to VA for nieces & nephews birthdays, Easter & Thanksgiving.
2. Maybe a trip to Hersey in June. My DBIL goes for a conference and my sister & nephews & niece join him. I might tag along!
3. I'm thinking about another solo trip to WDW. I had such a great time there last year.
